My dad got robbed this morning

Going to the barbershop he's used for years, two characters in hoodies(of course) in 90 degree weather held him at gunpoint for his wallet. He calls me after to come and get him, and I see him with cuts and blood on his face, which pisses me off to no end, as apparently he tried fighting with them as opposed to just giving up the wallet. Took him to the ER earlier and everything is cool, but the whole thing just bugs me. I've been stuck up before, and it does make you mad after the fact, but since he's alive, that's the main thing and what not.

Nope. He's one of those guys, you know....I can handle **** myself. Which I already chewed his ass out for at the hospital. We filed a report and everything.

There are cities in this state, man. It's not completely farm land...that's in the southern part. Every state in the union has several big cities where crime is rampant.

Obviously. His justificaiton was, "they were probably gonna shoot me anyway, so i may as well get the drop on them first." I know he's not the only guy with that mindset, but it don't make it any less illogical.

Yeah, I was robbed while working at a convenience store. It was ****ing terrifying... I couldn't have imagined fighting back.
