Chidi's entire rant to his class towards the end was nothing short of spectacular.
It was obvious he had a mental breakdown to that class. The giant pot of chili with all that stuff in it.
Peeps and chilli would not go well together!
Funny episode, maybe the funniest one yet this season.
I can't decide if the writers forgot how to write Eleanor or if Bell's delivery is the problem (something I never thought I'd say), but her character is still feeling a bit forced. Tahani and Michael seem kind of lost but Chidi and Jason still work great and this episode had some great stuff for Janet. Pillboi and Donkey Doug were hilarious extensions of the Jason shtick. But I just don't know if I'm ever going to get used to this setting/context for the show, the over-arching story continues to kind of bother me.
But it's funny and maybe that's all that matters?
Hmm. Perhaps Eleanor is the one that should come out as bi and not Chidi.
Chidi's repeated attempts at breaking up reminded me of a similar scenario, even though it's been done in many programs, in an episode of the show Misfits.
Simone and Eleanor moment was hilarious.
One of the many highlights of this week’s episode!
Jason crying while doing his handshake with his brother and saying goodbye!
"More guys should be bi. It's 2018. It's like, get over yourselves."
"There's a very specific Lenny Kravitz concert I want to be in the front row at."
Ugh, her mind...
Mary Cherry as Eleanor's mom remains perfection. Even though Leslie Grossman is so not old enough to be KB's mom.
"No Mom, ya basic. And that's ok."
Hmm, now this newest episode had a couple effective (if predictable) emotional beats but wasn't all that funny.
I'm really struggling with this season. I enjoy watching it but I don't feel like it's really clicked into a groove the way it did pretty quickly in each of the first two seasons. And the overall plotting, which has typically been fearless and adventurous in the first two seasons, in this season has just felt kind of awkward.
Really hoping that this Soul Patrol storyline doesn't take up too much more time. Guess the group's all gonna be back together in the next episode so hopefully things shift into a stronger group dynamic and a little more forward momentum.
An interesting episode. Didn't think they had ye olde Good Place sets still around?
The stinger got me a little excited for where this might be going. I missed those demons.
I don't know how Kristen was able to hold it together with the iguana on her head.
That right there was easily the best episode of the season.
And I'm excited for the next one!
The Good Place now has better fight scenes then the vast majority of superhero shows, including all DC shows and I don't know how to handle this.
I can't believe I just watched an honest-to-god fight scene in this show, lol.
And Janet kicked all the ass.
When that one dude took off his shirt and said he had been working out.
The fight scene was awesome and hilarious!
I for one would love to enter Janet's void.
If McKean doesn't get a guest actor Emmy nom, I swear to God...
If he didn't get one for Saul, I doubt he'll get one for this.
But see, I blame that on Emmy monogamy preventing them from seeing that there are any supporting actors on Better Call Saul other than Jonathan Banks.
The Guest Actor slot might be a whole different ball game.
That Luke Guldan as the gym demon is always nice to see. It was a crime that Chidi didn't have a no shirt off.
