Comics "NECROSHA" - The Legacy/New Mutants/X-Force Crossover

Now that was a GOOD start to this crossover. Actually damn amazing.

Did Yost/Kyle retcon CC's retcon of a retcon?

how is it that Cypher's body was resurrected from his grave? Wasnt his body reninmated in the form of Douglock back in Excalibur? Speaking of which, exactly what are his powers now? Seems he got an upgrade.

Shinboi Shaw is dead? What? When did that happen. I loved him and always wondered what happened to him. I hope he sticks around bc I thought he was a cool villian

I love that the resurrected arent simply zombies as I originally thought they might be. They're not quite alive but still very human as highlighted by the scene between Cypher and the Hellions

Douglock wasn't Cypher's body. Kitty checked. Doug's body was still in its casket while Douglock was running around.

Oh thanks. I always thought he was a merged entity of Warlock's T-O and Doug's body

Which one is that?

It seems they've expanded his powers to read more into body language and pick up on every little tick or movement by a person to essentially "read between the lines" of what they can do.

thanks for the info. Im glad Cypher is back. His death really marked the beginning of the end for the New Mutants. It never quite felt the same afterwards

How great was the variant cover? I only know saw it. This is a great shot of the team. Surprised Wolverine isnt prominently featured though.

Oh and finally they took out Rahne from the team roster on the recap page. Didnt understand why they kept her there when she isnt a part of the team

ok..warpath, wolverine, x-23, domino, elixir, (arch)angel and vanisher...who is the other guy?

holy crap...just read messiah complex, X-force vol1, cable 1&2 all in the last couple of days...some heavy s*** goin on. poor poor Rahne :( her story made me ssooo sad.

Very Lost Boys influenced, which I love. It was a great movie

the artwork on X-force never ceases to amaze me...so often a series will have an EPIC looking cover, but be very disappointing inside. X-force did not let me down though.

Colossal Spoons: damn that sig of yours! :oldrazz:

I have to say I LOVE the X-force team. They all work for me and this has been one amazing lineup. I hope they stay intact after Yost/Kyle leave. They even made me like Domino and she's been a character Ive always hated. Vanisher is also a character that hasnt bothered me as much as I thought he would and I quickly grew to enjoy Warren here as Archangel as I dont mind it anymore. Wolverine has been good as a "father" figure so to speak and leader. Josh brings about some innocence to the group and X-23 has been a tragic soul

I have some homework to do on Doug and Warlock
what do you want to know?

what do you want to know?

How they're connected, specifically why Warlock had Doug's DNA.

Haha :p

How they're connected, specifically why Warlock had Doug's DNA.
They were best friends. Doug's powers allowed him to understand and communicate in any language. When Warlock first came to earth, no one could undestand him but Doug and thats why they were so close early on. Bc Doug lacked any offensive or defensive power, he would often combine with Warlock in battle as a sort of protection. I think, doing it so many times kind of caused the DNA to spill over. This is what the battlesuit looked like

^ i would LOVE to see the X-force artists version of that beast!

Anyone else what Rogue's role in Necrosha going to be?
this is what Carey had to say

"X-Men: Legacy Annual" #1 pits Rogue against the machinations of Emplate, but for "Necrosha," she'll be tangling with another villain. "You'd imagine Emplate would have come along if he was invited - it's his kind of show," Carey said. "Selene is the big adversary, but Rogue never faces her directly: what she's facing is someone whose agenda is kind of at right angles to Selene's, but who is able to leapfrog off the back of Selene's plan. I don't want to spoil who that might be, but let's just say that if Rogue were to ask 'Who goes there, friend or foe?' the answer would be 'Both.'"

Yeah, he is the most likely. I hope she gains another permanent power again. She needs at least super strength or flight.

she doesnt need those now that she has control of her own.
