Even though I haven't watched Netflix Piece yet, casting for Mr. 3 Miss Valentine are spot on, and it's hard to say no to David Dastmalchian. Curious about who they'll get for Mr. 2.

That said, for a variety of reasons, Whiskey Peak has a ton of fun moments.

No way he wasn't playing coy and that was just wishful thinking- I have to believe he'd already been cast at that point and keeping tight-lipped!

So they'll definitely be heading to Little Garden soon, and they've cast Mr. 3, so Miss Goldenweek can't be too far behind.

Considering they got David Dastmalchian for Mr. 3, it kind of opens the door for them to get some slightly other big names for some other characters. Really curious who they got for Smoker, Crocodile, Chopper, Ace and Robin.

Ah well I’m not shocked to be honest. I’m not sure if the show has a budget for people like her

And she'd arguably have been the biggest name that the show got that, which I think would've had the potential to pull away from the main characters.

So, I just ventured over to the One Piece live action Reddit and saw that Mackenyu’s stunt team (used on all of the fights in the Rurouni Kenshin live action films), which wasn’t available for season one due to Covid preventing them from leaving Japan, are going to be a part of season two, and most likely for future seasons, pending no future setbacks.

Just for context, because he didn’t have his usual stunt team for season one, he couldn’t move at his usual speed, so he had to slow down so everyone else involved in his fights could keep up with him. But now that his team is back, we’re going to see him fully unleashed and at full skill and speed. The fights next season are going to make season one’s fights look like amateur hour.

My hype just skyrocketed.
