New FF Set Reports Thread.

I like how the dude walking in front barely notices the Surfer but jumps back when Torch flies by.

I'll tell you what i just noticed that is not important in anyway but i feel we can all agree can be classed as a nice cool touch by the SFX guys, is that when the Human Torch first comes into shot & flies around one pole (in essentially the top left of the shot) he burns through one of the flags and incinerates it. Like i said it's not the most earth shattering news but i think its a nice touch that you know not many people will notice. Kinda makes you feel like they're taking real care you know.

That's cool, but why don't any of the extras really jump back out of the way. The guy hailing a taxi should be well done if the Human Torch really went past him.

When something happens so fast, you don't have time to react sometimes. Like when they come shooting out of the tunnel, and the Surfer flies by, then he leans over to look, and The Torch goes by, and that guy has to be toast.

Ordinarily, yes, but through long hours of practice, Johnny has learned how to redirect the heat his flame gives off. That's how he's been able to carry other people while flying and not injure or kill them.

^^^ exactly that is why the cars blew away but the people did not. Johnny controlled his draft. Of course people might have been in the cars but that is the torch for you.

Most movie fans might miss that though captain.

Hey what is going on with filming, are all the actors back home, has filming wrapped, why are we not getting any more news, why has a picture of Doom or Galactus not been leaked.

What, are they paying people to be tighlipped, hmf that has never worked before.

How are they keeping things under such tight control hahaah.

Is it fear, threats hahahah, is Rothman who we really thought he might be lol or are they giving people the little blue pill.

I would threaten Rothman to give something up as my cold heart, (the excel efect) needs more but I did that before to get us the teaser the day after christmas. Unfortunately I can't seem to be able to locate Mrs Haitee (my voodoo practioner) any more, She refuses to return my calls.

What do we have to do, they got us hooked with the teaser, now they are cutting us off.

They *DO* get knocked back. On the last few frames you can see the last two pedestrians fly backwards as the car in front of them pops up. The Silver Surfer doesn't seem to affect much, but the Torch sure does.

I was there for the filming, and ALL of the actors near the cars get blown backwards onto the ground. They had wires hooked onto them and everything. You just can't see it in the camera angle they used in the teaser.

The Fantastic Four get hurt and maimed, but it's not a gorefest either. X-Men is more of a gorefest truth be told. Though Sue's nosebleed in the first one was a nice touch showing how painful physically and mentally it is to keep shields up.

Sorry, but in that clip you cant see any people being thrown back, bad mistake IMO and there are definately people as close as the cars were, yet the cars are blown over and the people arent.

Well we've seen the set pics from the rooftop wedding, the destruction on the Shanghai set, and the Torch/Surfer chase scene where Torchy get's snuffed out and is plummeting to his DOOM. LOL No pun intended. Yeah I know he'll be saved by himself or by the Surfer.

^ i think that torches fall would be the perfect introduction for the fantasticar. wouldnt it be great if he fell in to his seat perfectly just like the comics. or if they had reeds huge hand catch him and pull him in to the car. would be the best.

i want to see more of them saving eachother with their powers, like catchin in shields, or thing catching a huge object stopping them all from being crushed.

They were going too fast for Reed and company to even get to the Fantasticar in that scene unless it's 5 times longer than the cut we saw. I say the Silver Surfer goes down and saves him.
