lol....I don't know its just weird to have left a 51 year old Wal-Mart employee and I come back and he's an 18 year old kid just out of puberty.....lol:wow:

He has been seduced by the cult of Alba. It seems that she has an unusual pull on the..... ahem hearts of many mortals.

What they see in her is hard to fathom, perhaps it is that look of innocence that calls out to the animal in some of us, that desire to strip her of that innocent smile.

Fortuantley we are all chaste upstanding men of integrity and in reality our attraction to alba is protective in nature as we know that some in hollywood would spoil this flower before her time, lol.

Wroung oh seeker of knowledge. Retired from Wallyworld 14 months ago. Have since gone to collage to get my degree. As for Alba....... Nothing more to say. She speaks for herself. All men are animals at our core. Some admit it ( like me ), some don't. Don't forget King David had 700 wifes, and 300 concubines. How would you like to have 1,000 women to service ? :wow: Or in JLA's case 1,000 Jessicas.

Didn't want to created a new thread for this so i'll just put it here. Maybe a little late for those in the eastern and central time zones, but for everyone else.... Ioan Gruffudd will be on Tavis Smiley 2nite. He's normally on PBS out here... I guess it the same everywhere else. Thought I give everyone the heads-up.
 
I created a new thread for this but maybe it should have gone here so here is a new Chicklis interview from IF magazine

Chances are pretty good, that if you hear the words, “It’s clobbering time!” that the ever-lovin’ Thing is somewhere nearby. That was true at the Fox winter party for their new seasons, when Michael Chiklis entered the courtyard. The actor who is as gruff and loveable as his FANTASTIC FOUR counterpart was only too happy to share a few minutes with iF MAGAZINE and talk about the new FANTASTIC FOUR: RISE OF THE SILVER SURFER movie. Fans will be thrilled to hear that they can look for more comic book phrases from the Thing, and Dr. Doom is out to get trashed by everyone’s favorite orange rock good guy once again.

iF MAGAZINE: This new trailer looked like you had more facial mobility than the first FANTASTIC FOUR movie?

MICHAEL CHIKLIS: They broke the mask into sections that made sense; underneath the eye and across my forehead so all the sections weren’t attached. When they were attached my facial muscles were fighting against each other and I had less mobility. Although, I felt like I moved the other mask pretty well.


iF: Was playing the Thing easier the second time around?


CHIKLIS: Much, much easier. It was the difference between unhealthy and uncomfortable. Uncomfortable I can deal with. I’m not a push over, I can deal with things, but the other situation was unhealthy and I had a lot of physical problems because of it. Not the least of those problems being in my own sweat for twelve to fourteen hours a day for six months. When you put your body through that for so many months, it really makes it tough to stay with it. This time they were able to take it off of me after every take.


iF: Are you still glad that you told Avi Arad you were Ben Grimm all of those years ago?


CHIKLIS: Yeah. [Laughs] You know why? When my daughter tells me that on Monday when she goes to school, her teacher wants her to bring in THE FANTASTIC FOUR so they can sit and watch the movie together during their free period, that’s why I’m really thrilled that I did that movie. It’s something that my children can watch. My kids for the last six years weren’t able to watch anything that daddy made. They were starting to doubt that I was an actor. My oldest was starting to think the name of my show was, “THE SHIELD, get out!” [Laughs]


iF: Any more signature phrases this time like “clobbering time” from the last film?


CHIKLIS: Oh we have a little spin on “it’s clobbering time” this time, but I can’t really divulge that because it would wreck it, but look for the spin on that.

iF: What did you think of the story this time around?

CHIKLIS: What’s fun about this time around, we didn’t have to lay down the same amount of origin tale track. We could just get right into it. In this kind of situation they have to take certain liberties with the original, but I still adheres to the point where any hardcore FOUR fan is going to be satisfied and SILVER SURFER fans are going to be psyched out of their minds. Weta is doing the effects and they’re an impressive house, just what I’ve seen so far of their effects is spectacular. Doug Jones did some phenomenal physical work to set the look for all of that. He was much more of a champion that I was about being in that costume. He’s used to being in them more, and I am now, but it isn’t something I want to make a career out of. [Laughs] At the end of the day, for this franchise, great.

iF: Were there a lot of re-writes?



CHIKLIS: Yeah, they were constantly tweaking. A lot of them didn’t really affect me; they affected Jessie [Alba] and Ioan [Gruffudd] more than me. There were a lot of additions as time went on with me, so they affected me in that way. I was added into scenes pretty consistently, and that’s always nice.

iF: Did you kick Julian McMahon’s ass again?

CHIKLIS: Not an ass kicking, but more of breaking a wall with him.

A spin on it's clobbering time??? I could see him punching the SS and saying "Surf's up Oscar".

They better call the SS Oscar in this film as a joke.

According to Chiklis, don't expect much onscreen progress in the relationship between his character and Alicia Masters (played by Kerry Washington) this time around, but series director Tim Story has plans for the couple:

"There is a little bit more of that, but not more than the first. There's a little bit more of the continuation of that. But in the following one, in the third one, there's really quite a substantial thing coming between them."

Chiklis also hinted that he's been given some clues as to where the series might go from here:

"Tim [Story] has given me some insight in the way he wants to go, and I won't tell you. I can't. Well, I really can't! I mean, I can't!"
