New He-man Movie!!

does he need them? most only care if they look right and can at least sound right anyway....

tobey looks plenty enough like parker but his spidey falls very flat. Nobody really cares.

tobey doesnt look like anything like peter does, eventhough im a guy but i think the comic version is better looking.

Say what you want about the old movie, Langella kicked ass as Skeletor.

Hell, I'm still waiting for confirmation on the G.I. Joe movie.

I'd love to see a live action She-Ra movie, she was always a damn sexy cartoon character.

My Casting Call.....

King Randor-Kevin Sorbo(Dry wit...Strong Presence-Looks good with the Goatee...all he has to do is grow his hair again. He'd be decent)

Queen Marlena- Sigourney Weaver (Has the stoic strength yet sensitive side of the Adams Mom)

Prince Adam-Jesse McCartney/David Gallagher (Perfect age...more Jesse now than David...but they have the acting ability and the look...which is always important)

He-Man - Triple H 0r Australian Body Builder David Rylah (saw the latter on M&F Magazine...he's got the look...dunno about acting ability)

Duncan/Man At Arms-Ted Levine (See him in Monk...he's gruff...yet sensitive...he's got the physical buildfunny...and LOOKS like him)

Teela-Lindsay Lohan (When she was a red head and had a lil meat on her bones...lol...now she could play skeletor)

Startos-Ron Pearlman (Who else? Unless they dubb his voice using a lame Sean Connery impersonator-New Series-lol)

Mekaneck-Bruce Campbell (That chin...w/ CGI for the extended neck...brilliant! Character actors for a rather odd character that's the way I see it.)

Ram-Man-Ryan Hurst (He's big...he can play dumb...yet smart at the same time...saw him in The Ladykillers...and I was like..."He's perfect"!

Orko-CGI (Voiced by Tom Kenny-Spongebob...lol)

Man-E.-Faces-Patrick Warburton (Another Quirky character actor...who I think has the right build and voice for this weird yet memorable character)

Zodac-Lawernce Fishburne (Zodac in the new series was basically a Morpheus rip off anyway...lol...but still he'd be perfect...even if he did play the cowboy from Pee Wee's Playhouse)

The Sorceress-Julianne Moore (Someone who is motherly...nuturing...like in the old series....but it will be a combination of both old and new...she would be super sensitive and strong in will and in her magic...I find Moore can have that..."Hannibal")

Keldor/Skeletor-Willem DaFoe (You saw him in Spidey 1...He's got the bone structure...and the build...he'd be perfect)

Evil Lynn-Rosario Dawson (Beautiful...Strong...can be manipulitive (Sin City). She could pull it off...bigtime.

Beast Man-Tyler Mane (Sabertooth...and...well...the dude from Troy...he's perfect...Either that or Big Show from WWE...although I am trying not to limit my choices to wrestlers)

Trap Jaw-Ralph Mueller (If you've seen him in the Scorpion King...he's got the voice...the build and he's a perfect lacky)

Tri Klops-Either Ray Park (Who has the acting ability and is handy with weapons or Brian Thompson...who has the height build and can weild a sword well)

As far as Whiplash and Clawful get two really big guys and put them in suits...or...CGI them...b/c these characters are HUGE.

Maybe have Dolph cameo as a Royal Guard.

And definitely cast Langella in some sort of fashion...maybe in cameo as HORDAK...maybe the head Elder?

A new He-Man film needs some great physical and character actors in order to make it work... I know it's dead in the water...but as a child of the '80s...a boy can still truly dream.

Thoughts...comments suggestions...anyother hero/villian you would like to add?

please don't be offended, but I just want to say that this is the dorkiest post I've ever read.

No offense taken...because I am quite the dork with a lot of time on my hands. lol...But hey...although a dork...I'm a nice guy...and fun to get to know...Sorry if it is to dorky. But hey...I'm a MOTU fan...and I had to post something.

Yes, when I said that it was definitely a case of "takes one to know one". :)

Well...me thinks I should be honored...because I have the DORKIEST POST EVER! Yes...I did a comic book guy impression right there. lol. ^_^. Hey...Tom Sizemore as STINKOR lol. hehehehe. If any of u guys would like to check out this David Rylah dude...check him out...www.davidrylah.com. I e-mailed him...he thought I knew "people" I wish I did. This guy...would be perfect. lol. Oh BTW, I bought a 14 inch "Wrestling Giants" WWE Figure of Triple H. I'm going to Modify him into...yup...He-Man. LOL. I am a dork...and DORKS RULE THE WORLD!

I hope the new one has that little "thing" whose ears went erect when it got aroused or scared... or hungry... or wanted to play music on the multi-dimensional wormhole creating xylophone. That was classic.

I just saw that rerun of "I love the 80's" today where they talk about He-Man was one of the gayest cartoons ever.

Well, it was kind of unintentionally homoerotic.

i just saw that too.

But I thought He-Man was supposed to be the manliest man in the universe?

Most of the 80s cartoons were homoerotic...even The Smurfs...c'mon...all these guys...one girl...and what was up with Taylor? Geesh...doesn't get any Gayer than that. ^_^ As far as who Cedric might play I dunno...he's talented but I don't see him as a MOTU Character. I didn't even see him portraying Ralph Kramden...I mean...geez. lol.
