Whats wrong with Wizard? Haha they might not post spoiler warnings and maybe get their news a little late but still, I see no reason not to trust them.
Wizard just reports false information alot, that's it.

Here's a link to the article which explains what's it about.

Well then, now I'm much more excited.

I am likin the idea that it is the Working Title right now similar to the Intimidation Game. Its the only way that it makes sense really. What I like though is the fact that on the first day of Comic-Con two different websites have big Bat-related news (Joker casting and....whatever it is Jett has). It shows to me that this film is much farther in development than we all thought. Everyone thought that there was no way we were going to get anything out of Comic Con, they were wrong.

i am confused

what does this thread have anything to do with BB2?

The Joker Cast!? Heath Ledger?!
Author: Jett
Thursday, July 20, 2006 - 3:56 AM, 5:42 AM CENTRAL TIME: According to a report on LATINO REVIEW, 27 year old Heath Ledger will be cast as The Joker in the upcoming sequel to BATMAN BEGINS -- well, he's going to get offered the part. Ironically, Ledger is about to shoot I'M NOT THERE which also stars Christian Bale.

I’m heading to San Diego and I’ll see if I can dig something up confirmation-wise for you all. Stay tuned...

A couple of things I'm going to throw out there for you all to ponder: 1. January 2007. 2. "Rory's First Kiss."

I think the idea that it's a working title is the most convincing idea at this point. Every word of the phrase is capitalized. It's in quotes.

Look at it like this: Waaaay back in 1982, Director Richard Marquand and Producer George Lucas began production on a film called "Blue Harvest." Crew members wore hats and jackets with the name "Blue Harvest" on them and the slogan, "Horror Beyond Imagination."

Interestingly, "Blue Harvest" was just a smokescreen. They were making "Star Wars: Return of the Jedi." They just didn't want people to find out immediately.

Which is, of course, also what Chris Nolan and Dave Goyer did a few years ago with "Batman Begins." They claimed to be working on a movie called "The Intimidation Game."

Again, the idea is that if you're in Chicago doing location shooting for a Batman movie, and you put the name "Batman" on the signs that the police use to close the streets, etc... you're going to have a lot of gawkers underfoot and generally making your life difficult. If you say you're doing location shooting for a film called "Rory's First Kiss," nobody's gonna care, because it sounds like a lame-ass romantic comedy or something.

January 2007 would certainly be a reasonable start date for production on Batman 2.

I'd have to say this is the answer to this riddle. Some of you folks are reaching too far. You're starting to look like Elastigirl, but without the fine ass. More like Reed Richards, or Stretch Armstrong.

Crying shame.

Extremly well put.

So, does JETT think that this whole Ledger as the Joker is BS, and that JARED PADALECKI is in the running to be the Joker?

The things in his favor:
-Already works for the WB, on two shows for them.
-Is an unknown.
-Has the look, tall and skinny.
-about 25 years old.

-R

well....Jan 07 is obviusly probably the start date for shooting the film.

As for the Rorys clue....Padalacki could be a contender for Dent?? maybe Roman Sionis??

http://www.adherents.com/lit/comics/Ragman.html
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ragman

Did some searching, came up with the usual gilmore related stuff. Switched to Batman related Rory's...and so we arrive at Ragman.

So the question is...who was Ragman aka Rory Regan's first kiss?

Not that I think this is what JETT was in fact pointing to in his clue, but it was the only batman related thing that came up so I'm putting it out there anyway....no matter how obscure and unlikely it is.....

production start. working title.
end of story.

I really wish I was Jett right now just so I could mess with people like this. I would do it all the time with updates like "I'll give you a clue: bananas" that would mean actually nothing at all.

Jett explicitly stated it has nothing to do with Gilmore Girls.

I'm almost positive it's the fake title. No, the final movie will definaltey not be called Rory's First Kiss, but it's most likely the codename they'll be using so people dont know what they're up to. Just like Red Sun was Superman Returns, Intimidation Game was Batman Begins, and Blue Harvest was Return of the Jedi.

Now the question that remains is, come January 2007, WHERE should we be looking? Will they still be filming in the UK and Chicago? Wish he'd thrown in a hint about that too.

January 2007 is pretty much a given IMO. Production will start by then,or at least an official cast announcement.

I think Katsuro hit the nail on the head with the Rory thing. It's probably a faux title so thing scan be kept under wraps or something along those lines.

Well, credit for that should be given to mad-sci. I pretty much just restated what other people had been saying.

Well then, good job, mad-sci.

I want to know who thought of Rory's First Kiss :)

Same here. I'll bet it has some deep, wierd, six-degrees of seperation kind of connection, like others have suggested. It's kind of an out-there title, at least Intimidation Game fit the movie.

Yes - it is odd to say the least.

Now if this is at all any sign that Alexis Bledel is playing Harley Quinn AND the Working Title....I could dig that.

Great going guys for figuring that out:)

Production start and working title. Now lets hope that this is what Jett is talking about.

Wait, isn't she in Gilmore Girls?

lujho's theory is the only one to make sense!!! "Rory's First Kiss" = RFK, Robert F. Kennedy, in the cast: Linus Roach (Thomas Wayne).
