New Incredible Site update! Includes score and new dialogue!

i was sold on Matthew Goode before but damn he is perfect as is everyone else

Listen to Rorschach's journal entry. Staright out of the book. Just perfect...

I'm about to cry :(

if this is the score then i am so damn happy i love veidt's Alexander speech

The score is incredible. Way better then I was expecting, and still very 80's. I love the score that's with Veidt. There's so much damn suspense.

Can't get enough of Ozy's, Rorschach's, and Doctor Manhattan's dialogue. Just when I was getting worried that this would be something under amazing, this update just lifted my hopes even higher.

Why is March 6th so far away?

Just click More next to the characters after they finish their first set of dialogue you'll get even more dialogue.

I'm really digging the music; Rorschach's and Manhattan's especially.

And it's good to hear "****es and politicians". :)

Dr. Manhattan's dialogue sounded wonderful. Thank god they didn't alter it, he sounds detached and the music only adds to it.

I take back any criticism I was thinking as I listened to the Prison Break sequence. It sounds beautiful.

EDIT: HAHAHAHA! Sorry about that Generica, I need to calm the **** down. Thanks for the reality check :D

I can tell you're really excited, Hurm. 3/10s of the posts in this thread are by you! And you're the OP!

The music on the website has absolutely floored me. As have the bits of dialogue. For a while my interest in the movie was decreasing, but not anymore. No siree.

The music on the site is absolutely fantastic.

i am overwhelmed with this new update to the site
love the journal readings, and the score fits to each hero

Thats awesome.

'Gawdamn I love that music, especially the first one playing on the Comedian's page.

oh my gosh! This is way too awesome! THEY ARE KEEPING RORSCHACH'S JOURNAL IN!

Jackie Earl Haley makes a perfect Rorschach and Jeffrey Dean Morgan makes perfect Comedian!!!

Man, it's really annoying trying to view this site with a slow internet connection. Someone should just record all of the soundbytes/music and put it on a youtube video or something.

See now the people complaining about the music can simmer down. I hear so much 80's in there. Including heavy influence from Blade Runner.

Perfect, lines perfect. Looks like Snyder really did pull it off.

shockingly my DSL is usually slow for major flash sites, but that watchmen site was working fast

You know, with a guy like Tyler Bates doing the score, it was one aspect of this movie I had my doubts about. Looks like he's done just fine. And since Snyder has already given a taste of some of the songs on the films soundtrack, I think we can look forward to a movie with some great music.

here is all the audio heard from site from WCM board post by BlackDoomShadow :

Rorschach:
"Rorschach's journal, October 12, 1985. Dog Carcass in alley this morning, tire tread on burst stomach. This city is afraid of me. I have seen its true face. The streets are extended gutters and the gutters are full of blood and when the drains finally scab over, all the vermin will drown. The accumulated filth of all their sex and murder will foam up around their waists and all the ****es and politicians will look up and shout 'Save us!' And I'll whisper 'no.'"

"Never compromise. Not even in the face of Armageddon. That's always been the difference between us, Dan."

"I lived my life, free of compromise…and step into the shadow without complaint or regret. Rorschach, November 1."

Comedian:
"Mankind's been trying to kill each other off since the beginning of time. Now...they finally have the power to finish the job."

"It's a joke. It's all a joke."

"God damn, I love working on American soil Dan. I ain't had this much fun since Woodward and Bernstein. Congress is pushing through some new bill that'll outlaw masks. Our days are numbered. It's like I always say, we're society's only protection. [Dan: "From what?"] From themselves."

Dr. Manhattan:
"She says I'm like a God now. I tell her I don't think there is a God. And if there is, I'm nothing like him."

"I SAID LEAVE ME ALONE!"

"Hollis Mason, a retired costumed hero, writes a book. In it, he calls my arrival 'the dawn of the superhero.'"

"But why would I save a world I no longer have any stake in?"

"I can only see my own past. My own future. I am not omniescent."

"My red world, here, now, means more to me than your blue one."

"If only you could perceive time as I do."

Silk Spectre:
"It doesn't matter. Peoples' lives take them strange places, they do strange things, and well, sometimes they can't talk about them. I know how that is. I just want you to know that...you never did anything wrong by me."

"I used to be a masked avenger too, remember? I'm used to going out at 3AM and doing something stupid."

"I think I've had enough hero stuff for one night. It helped having you listen."

"I'm not afraid!"

Nite Owl:
"I'm tired of being afraid. Afraid of war. Afraid of the...mask killer. And afraid of this god damn suit...and how much I need it."

"We were supposed to make the world a better place. Nuclear war...human extinction?!"

"I remember...no matter how black it got...whenever I looked through those goggles...everything was as clear as day."

"I guess us retired guys have to stick together, right?"

"Watchmen are...over."

Ozymandias:
"The only person with whom I felt any kinship died 300 years before the birth of Christ. Alexander of Macedonia, or, Alexander the Great, as you know him"

"It doesn't take a genius to see the world has problems."

"Well...it was unprecendented. I wanted...needed to match his accomplishments, and so I resolved to applying antiquity's teachings to our world, today, and so began my path to conquest, conquest not of men...but of the evils that beset them."

"We can do so much more. We can save this world. With the right...leadership."

"What in life...does not deserve celebrating?"

I believe I read Tyler Bates was influenced, amongst other movies, by Blade Runner when composing for this movie. That is quite evident now

i cant wait for the score soundtrack to come out, so i can reread the GN with it

I'm finally liking Crudup's voice. He sounds far better on the website than he did in the trailers. I'm still not sold on Malin, but I'll wait for the movie.

The music for Ozymandias is appropriately villainous, and I like how DM's theme is really trippy. Rorschach's music is really dark too. I'll bet anyone who hasn't read the GN who visits the site is going to think he's the villain.
