New Incredible Site update! Includes score and new dialogue!

I'm finally liking Crudup's voice. He sounds far better on the website than he did in the trailers. I'm still not sold on Malin, but I'll wait for the movie.

The music for Ozymandias is appropriately villainous, and I like how DM's theme is really trippy. Rorschach's music is really dark too. I'll bet anyone who hasn't read the GN who visits the site is going to think he's the villain.

who, Rorschach or Ozy

ozymandias' theme sounds kinda like something from tdk score

Rorschach. I think Ozzy's theme sounds pretty villainous but it's more subtle than Rorschach's.
yea but if you looked at the video, Ozy's vid shows the destruction of NYC

I wonder if the music on Dr. Manhattan's page is what'll be playing during the Mars flashback sequence.

Crudup's voice is perfect. I'm glad they didn't alter it with a computer or anything.

I cannot wait for this movie.

The music is fantastic. I absolutely love Jon's music. Bold choice for the character, and a beautiful one. Laurie's background music is very retro. Dan's is an interesting techno-take on his character, Rorschach's is creepy as hell, The Comedian's is interesting, and Ozymandias'...is like the most recent Batman fanfare sounding through human skulls.

Rorschach sounds great. Detached, but oh so serious. It's interesting to note that his journal entry is a "clearer", less "muffled" version of his Rorschach personality.

I adore the way everything is so "matter of fact" to The Comedian.

It is eerie the amount of emotion Crudup conveys for Dr. Manhattan without having any.

Laurie has a softer side, and that's nice to see. Now all that remains is seeing if she can pull of the character's occasional intensity.

Dan at his breaking point and looking into the past...fantastic.

And I had few doubts about Goode as Ozymandias, but I'm quickly becoming enamored with him in this role. I love the way he's speaking, as if everything he says is measured, like he can't be bothered to speak in hurried, emotional excess like the peons. Those speeches are mostly right out of the book, and it appears we will see some semblance of Ozymandias' origin sequence.

Ok, let me admit for the record that if that site is any indication, I was completely and utterly wrong about Tyler Bates's score. This music sounds fantastic, and I can totally hear the Blade Runner influence, especially in the Comedian and Manhattan ones, which makes me smile.

Why oh why did they pick that crappy Prison Break cue as our first preview when it seems they had so much actual good stuff to choose from?

I'm getting a kind of Explosions in the Sky vibe from the Silk Spectre music, which definitely gives off more emotion than I was expecting. I'm digging the Ozymandias one, but it reminds me of something else, too, and I can't think of what it is.

Oh, and all the dialogue sounds great and straight from the book, so yay. I'm especially happy to know that the full "save us" passage is intact. The version from the trailers has been driving me crazy.

There is a really eerie big horror movie feel to Rorschach's theme.

Love it.

I'm guessing its gonna be used during the Roche kidnapping scene.

This update was freakin' awesome! I can't get enough of that Rorschach page!

EDIT: Does anyone else get a SAW sort of vibe from Rorschach's theme?

I really appreciate the work they put into the site. It's incredibly attractive and should help hook any hapless people come across it.

Yea agreed with TheGuard. This music just has a perfect vibe. Maybe now some will stop bashing Bates music. This shows some of his talent. Just amazing. I keep listening to the Rorschach stuff though. The way he says his Journal Lines. Perfect. And to all the nay sayers, as I always knew, Walter does say "all the ****es and politicians...." not "the world" they did that just for trailers.

My god. Rorschach's page creeps me out. That's the EXACT same voice I had in my head when I read the GN years back.

Damn, incredible is an understatement. I'm especially digging the Rorschach quotes and The Comedian's theme.

I cried, no f***ing joke!

Seriously, Silk Spectre's theme caused a few tears...

Excellent stuff. RR's monologue was word for word from the beginning of the book, which is very satisfying to hear in it's entirety.

The music was good, sounded like Blade Runner Vangelis stuff with Comedian....and maybe the Eric Clapton stuff from Lethal Weapon I for Doc Manhattan. They were the most 80's stylistic synth/electritc guitar score sounding themes of the bunch. From this score, it seems the score goes in several directions in terms of style.

RR's theme and Adrians' seemed the most straightforward in terms of the score suiting the material of the story. Felt the most timeless. I loved Laurie's theme as well--I would say the same above of her theme. Dan's seemed a little nu-batman hans zimmeresque to me. Which suits what they appear to be doing, but it was my least favorite piece of the bunch. I can't wait to hear the whole score though!

This has put quite a few fears to rest.

One last thing though, what's with Wally Weaver being a brainiac now? WTF. It's Milton Glass or nothin'.

:woot:

The music is a huge copy of Blade Runner, but somehow I still like it.

i thought the 30 second clip of the prison breakout score was awful, and i was genuinely concerned. but the music on these pages is really great. doc manhattans page in particular. fantastic stuff.

So, all the music that you hear on the site is from the actual soundtrack? Damn, it's pretty good.

Well Im pleasantly surprised by everything from this update. The music is fantastic! Im hearing some Terminator 2 esque tunes from Rorschach's theme. I also love Doc Manhatten's and Comedians' theme as well.

omg..i love the quotes. I love the music. It's kinda 80s syns without being too much of a cliche.

no worries anymore...btw if that music behind them is from the movie....then im sold.
im so excited that i honestly jumped up and down on my surgery knee :oldrazz:

Dr. Manhattan's theme reminds of me Blade Runner's score..

btw if you keep pressing more rorschach(or any character....) you get more dialogue! just a heads up
