Yep, and as Soundkit said on the BOF forum, this would be a perfect time for Joker to go all Clockwork Orange on the high society party guests
Oh man, ok, just thought of this...
This is a party, right? For all the "A-listers" of Gotham? And the Joker crashes it? I don't know about you, but this seems like the perfect time for Joker to show up dressed like this:

Joker's extremely vain and it's likely he'll probably say something about not being invited or something of the like. Classic Joker, in and out. The potential is there
Yeesh no. General intimidation and embarassment of the guests kind of stuff
15) The Joker is fighting the vigilante (who is really Adam West in the exact suit used in the 60's series) in the penthouse when Bruce calmly walks in, stares, leaves slowly, comes back like 10 minutes later after Adam West has literally beaten the Joker to death, and claims credit. The scene ends with Batman making passionate Whoopi to Adam West's wife.
I suppose I just expected it to have some sort of tag in the title given the past history of this forum. It's amazing how many people are suprised when a movie gets spoiled in a spoiler forum.
Long time reader, first time poster.
I'm torn. Here's a thread I clicked on thinking it would be minor plot points, and was not under the assumption that it would be a massive spoiler. It reeks so much of kick-assery, yet I can't help but really, really hope that none of this is in the film, as I would really prefer to not have this sort of knowledge. Then again, I've gone into other movie knowing the ending and still been stunned by how awesome they were, yet I can't help but wish that I had not read any of this.
And it all fits so perfect. Dent having to make the decision on the boats leading to a "two choices" obsession, Rachel's death pushing him closer to the edge (just the idea of Rachel, in a completely devastating scene, falling from a skyscraper window, is so powerful). The Joker's actions, his reign of terror, it all works so well.
But, like I said, I pray it isn't true.
Lol - don't sweat it dude. Welcome to the Hype!I suppose I just expected it to have some sort of tag in the title given the past history of this forum.
Can't really blame anyone but myself.
Like I said, can't blame anyone but myself for it, I come here because this forum generally has the most discussion and is one of the first places to have new news posted. It was foolish of me to not expect that I'd be able to avoid this sort of stuff before hand.So...you wish all this AWESOME stuff wasn't in the movie...becuase you read a spoiler...IN the spoiler forum?

That said, I, very selfishly, hope that Nolan comes up with something just as kick-ass, that is not this.
I could totally see Heath Joker in that sort of suit, and dear God it's like imaginary eye-candy.Oh man, ok, just thought of this...

Can we simply come to a friendly compromise where I concede that the only way that this should be taken out of the movie is if Nolan has something even better? You're right.
That IS very selfish.

I wanna see Joker crash Bruce's party and have an indignant Bruce yell, "YOU WANNA GET NUTS!!?? COME ON! LET'S GET NUTS!"
But seriously, these plot points sound awesome.
Of course I do, as it is on every other internet forum, but I still try and stay as friendly as I can until someone disagrees with me.Since you said you're a long time reader, you probably already know this, but there is no such thing as a "friendly compromise" here. Everyone's opinion is fact, and everyone else is always wrong.
It's just the way of the Hype. Welcome, though. It's fun if you can ignore the ignorance, which is kind of an ironic thing to say.
