The Dark Knight New Joker Details

If these rumours are true, then this is awesome. Read both those scenarios. It's classic Joker.

In the endless debates about whether or not we're going to get a "true" Joker in "The Dark Knight", I think people should be taking less stock in him having a cut-smile, and more in the possibility of him doing stuff like this.

I love the way this is going. Heath Ledger could end up giving us not only a Joker worthy of following Nicholson, but a performance worthy of the movie-villain elite.

You are the Joker, you don't need anyone's help in "delivering" the Bat unto you. You already know he will follow you and appear before you , wherever you go, whatever you do. Anybody else agree with me on this???

Yes. The Joker could easily draw Batman out without the old "Bring me the hero so I can unmask/kill/embarass him" bit. But then, he's The Joker, he'd probably love for Gordon or Dent to betray Batman.

Why would Batman crash through a perfectly good skylight and risk injuring not only people, but also his own skylight? :)

Because he can't look like he's come from inside the party. Make a big show of entering, so all the "witnesses" will swear he couldn't have been anyone that was attending the party, including Dent and - of course - Bruce Wayne. :cwink:

Possible Awesome ways Batman could enter the scene:

1) giant birthday cake is wheeled in and Batman pops out

2) guy is getting a drink poured to him by the bartender, cut away to Joker breaking in with his goons and saying something, cut back to bartender gone and instead Batman is pouring the guy his drink.

3) Batman runs out of the ladies room

4) Batman hides in a chandelier and when Joker walks under he poops on Joker, yells "GUANO!" then jumps down and beats up all the goons.

5) Batman just walks through the main doors.

any other ideas?

Would you rather him take the elevator? How climatic that would be.

Joker:"What??? Who is this on the elevator!"

"ding"

Batman:"I'm Batman" (initiate bat theme)

6) An exact reproduction of Poison Ivy's entrance in "Batman & Robin".

7) Harvey Dent takes off his Harvey Dent mask to reveal Batman underneath!

8) Rachel Dawes takes off her Rachel Dawes mask to reveal Harvey Dent underneath, then takes the Harvey Dent mask off to reveal Batman underneath! Then Batman takes of his Batman mask to reveal Rachel Dawes underneath! Then Batman walks out of the elevator and says "hi, I'm Batman"

9) In Nolan's latest shocking twist, The Joker kills everybody at the party, then reveals himself to be Bruce Wayne! :wow:

* "hi freeze... i'm batman", IMO.

I think its a lot better than taking the elevator. I don't want a cringe worthy superhero taking the elevator scene (SM2) in TDK.

10) The Joker enters with a zipline and takes Harvey Dent hostage. But then he pulls Dent's mask off and it's that black guy that said "nice ride" from Batman Begins! Then Batman comes in from the elevator. Gordon tells Batman that the black guy said Batman has a nice ride, and Batman uppercuts Joker.

11) Musical number. Nuff said.

12) It turns out there is no Batman. At least, not in the physical sense. No, Batman is more of an idea. Something that lives inside each and every one of us. In our hearts.

I thought it was obvious it was a joke, but apparently not. I love skylight crashing throughs as much as the next fanboy.

13. Joker shows up aburputly and kisses both Batman and Harvey at a charity event (think the old movie, only with Joker substituting for Poison Ivy and Harvey being Robin. There's no love potion or whatever, Joker's just hawt.)

Batman and Harvey get into a big fight at the penthouse over Joker. Joker chooses Batman, causing Harvey to become Two-Face.

14) a black shape crashes through a skylight. it's the black guy who says "nice ride". he lands hard on a table, it breaks in half and he is knocked out cold. then the elevator opens and it's Batman.

I don't about this, but if these details are true, I'll be the happiest person alive come July 2008...

15) The Joker is fighting the vigilante (who is really Adam West in the exact suit used in the 60's series) in the penthouse when Bruce calmly walks in, stares, leaves slowly, comes back like 10 minutes later after Adam West has literally beaten the Joker to death, and claims credit. The scene ends with Batman making passionate Whoopi to Adam West's wife.

It sounds like the bees knees. I just hope Nolan and Co. aren't going all out with TDK, and instead save the best for last.

For all we know, the "last" could be a very, very long time from now.

Ideally, anyway.

Very nice info
Sounds like the party is a trap set by Bruce to smoke out the Joker.

"It's not who I am, but what I do that defines me." God, as if I haven't heard that theme enough in the first movie.

And I lol'd at the "Guano" one.

But I guess it's some comfort knowing they definitely have the personality and characterization down, because appparently someone didn't give them the memo about his real appearance. Lee Bermejo does not count.

Oh man, ok, just thought of this...

This is a party, right? For all the "A-listers" of Gotham? And the Joker crashes it? I don't know about you, but this seems like the perfect time for Joker to show up dressed like this:

Joker's extremely vain and it's likely he'll probably say something about not being invited or something of the like. Classic Joker, in and out. The potential is there
