what do you think about the new JLA?
who should be brought in,who shouldn't?
I agree with Red Tornado being the first inductee, hopefully it will give his character alot more recognition.
Oh yeah...will the original 3 vote themselves in or will there actually be an exclusion to the group for one of them, and who will it be?

Hal Jordan and Black Lightning will be on the team.

I say Aquaman though. It's time for the return of the pimp hand of justice.

I got issue #0, I need to get more before I'm too far behind. I picked up Vol.1 of Unlimited today, it rocks! I know that's a bit off trck but I'm all excited and happy about it.:woot:

I say Flash, if only because I wanna see what Meltzer would do with Bart.

while I think Aquaman & Flash both, will be in the league,I think they should dwell on the "lesser" known characters first(Firestorm and Black Lightning.BL,who seems to be getting quite a bit of recognition suddenly with this new JLA series),like what they're doing with Red Tornado.

We've all seen the League with GL/Flash/Aquaman etc.,and we know all about them(even if Bart is the "new" Flash).

Bringing in Roy as the new "Archer" of the group was classic, and it really showed Ollies character isn't all that necassary, but someone with the same abilities, but without the "edge",might be a little more to the liking.

The addition of Black Lightning,I think is geared towards a "future" storyline, seeing as they keep bringing up the fact that he is a "mole" in the company of one Lex Luthor.

So far this series is looking promising,BUT,they are only on issue #4,so we'll see.

Why have people voted for Hal Jordan when he is in the new League?

Do people just see Hal Jordan and have to vote?

I'm a bit dissapointed with the new line up. My prefered line up would be:

Superman

Wonder Woman

Captain Atrom (not crazy for no reason)

Kyle Rayner

J'onn Jonzz

Aquaman

Zatanna

Dr. Light (the Japanese scientist, not the rapist)

Power Girl

I vote Aquaman on the stipulation that it's Orin. I don't care how they bring him back, he just needs to come back.

My League is:

Superman
Batman
Wonder Woman
Green Lantern/John Stewart (suck it, GoldenAgeHero)
J'onn J'onnz
Aquaman/Orin
Green Arrow/Ollie
Flash/Wally (again, don't care how it's done, just make it happen)
And why the hell not, John Constantine. Come on, you know it'd be cool as hell.

Jason Todd Octopus monster!:cmad:

Actually, I had an idea for an arc of JLA: Classifieds involving the less mainstream DCU heroes taking over for the League when the regular roster (big seven) is incopasitated by Dr. Destiny. The roster for that would be:

Animal Man

Shade the Changing Man

Swamp Thing

Kid Eternity

John Constantine

Tommy Monaghan

Crazy Jane

Timothy Hunter

Angel and The Ape

The team is brought together by Delirium of The Endless through Crazy Jane when Dr. Destiny tries to take over The Dreaming and incopasitates Daniel and the Justice League in the process. Delirium reasons that Dr. Destiny is from Earth, so people from Earth should stop him. Their headquarters during the story is Danny the World.

Needs some specifics thrown in, such as how the JLA got messed with, and why these folks are chosen, while leaving out people like Dr. Fate and the Spectre. And yes, Tommy's dead. Not just a little bit. Dude's reeeeeal dead.

Oh, and how about Stanley and his Monster (think his name was Stanley)?

Did Swampy get cancelled? Haven't seen the old guy around the shop lately.

Sort of off-topic, but does anybody remember A Man Called A-X?

I like the current league, the mix of a-listers and c/d-listers is fresh.

There's alot of talk about this mystery 11th member of the new JLA.

My first choice would be Zatanna, followed by Flash and Aquaman.

I would like to see Zatanna inducted as she brings with her two things that the league needs; magic and fishnets !:cwink:

Yeah, there is a TOTAL lack of pointless fishnets in the JLA.

Hawkgirl is a stupid addition I hope she gets blown up by Dr. Light either of them.

If Nightwing would come I think he'd be great.

I think if he was in the League eventually people would start looking at Bruce and asking: "Why are we still keeping this *****e bag around?"

Then they'd realize he's still one of the greatest detectives in the world.

Victor's also a great addition. He's been with the Teen Titans for far too long.

It's JLA: Classifieds. It can take place in any time point. Tommy can be alive. In fact, there is a Hitman centric JLA: Classifieds arc written by Ennis coming out somewhere down the line. Anyway, the idea is that Dr. Destiny has, somehow (probably using the spell that trapped Morpheus back in the 30s) usurped Daniel as Dream. He then trapped most of Earth's major super heroes (including the JLA and JSA) and many other prominant figures (poloticians, military leaders, scientists, etc.) in the Dreaming, leaving only this small bunch of misfits to save the day.
