In my last post, I said that the site was fluid on the computer, and it still is.

On my phone, however, it's a disaster. The site freezes as soon as I start scrolling or changing pages, it's completely unusable. And I don't think it's related to my device as I don't have any problems anywhere else...
Has anyone had a similar experience?

I've also noticed that it freezes on the phone

I'm the opposite -' okay on my phone, horrible on my tablet. I don't use my computer for the Hype so I don't how it is there. With the blue Xenforo skin I'm good all over, but they take it away because no ads, therefore it must have something to do with how the ads are loading that's messing me up.

Thats a problem i have too, which is new.

Outside of that, the old problem is back again for me, where multi quoting doesnt work.
The moment i press on it, im going to the reply page where i just can reply to the one post.

I have my browser set to Dark Reader but it never works on this site at all. It just stays in default...

edit: and out of the blue I fixed it! I got nothing...

Something I think should be removed/looked at is the 'Similar Threads' you see at the bottom of a page. It's littered with threads that are long dead & haven't had a post in them for years. The ones I'm being recommended from this very thread were last posted in 2019, 2012, 2010, 2014, 2018.

I surmise I'm not alone with these sort of old recommendations judging by how more & more I see these sorts of threads resurrected by someone replying to a post that is years old.

Looks like the site just chooses keywords in the titles, which is odd.

After becoming completely unusable on my phone due to constant freezing as soon as I scroll down, the board is now also super slow on my computer. Takes between 15 and 20 seconds to load a page.
Again, I checked if my connection was the problem : it's not.

Been happening all morning for me. I thought my WiFi was down.

It's still happening to me. I even got that gateway error a few times. Thought it was just my usual Chrome bs, but it's been pure torture trying to post today. It's been crossing my mind more and more to just bail on this place, between my friends being gone (Iceman, where art thou?) and pages taking forever to load, what's the point?

Hopefully whatever is wrong with the site will be fixed sometime in the next 24 hours or so. (Also, I've been wondering what happened to Iceman, too.)

There's Firefox, Vivaldi, Opera, Edge, and Brave as potential substitute browsers. Firefox has Ublock Origin.

I tried Firefox and it wasn't much better. Maybe its just me or maybe my tablet is aging out. I just know it sucks taking 5-10 minutes to make a single post sometimes. (This one took 6 with me having to close the browser TWICE). This is the only place where I have this problem. I've been on this board for 20 years and it's never been this consistently awful like it has the past few months, with the exception of when I was allowed to use the Xenforo blue skin.
