Me trying to access the Hype

That reminds me of my phone modem 33.3 Kbs days in late 90s. In which you logged on after six o'clock in the evening since the phone rates were way lower then in my country back then.

A typical Mp3 file in around 3-5 Mb (pure guessing here of course, but I would assume a three-four minuite popular musical song number?) took like between 20 to 30 minuites to download.

And yes, of course I got some ridiculous phone bills for "sometimes" surfing at daytime lol.

Seriously though, It acutally seems that SHH is working a slight better today. Lets hope it will keep so.

I tried Firefox and it wasn't much better. Maybe its just me or maybe my tablet is aging out. I just know it sucks taking 5-10 minutes to make a single post sometimes. (This one took 6 with me having to close the browser TWICE). This is the only place where I have this problem. I've been on this board for 20 years and it's never been this consistently awful like it has the past few months, with the exception of when I was allowed to use the Xenforo blue skin.

my friend's husband has a tablet that he mainly just youtubes on, but it's so old that it will be obsolete soon per the messages he got from YT

also, my PC is going to be obsolete come october because it isn't upgradeable to Windows 11. so i'll be in the market for a really good desktop

Have you tried downloading the installation media for Windows 11 directly? Just backup your files and do a clean install.

not yet. but my computer gets the periodical pop up saying it will not be compatible and that updates will end Oct 2025 etc.

this computer has been very good to me and i still prefer a PC to a laptop. so if i do upgrade, i want at least 2TB hard drive, great RAM and virtual memory
