If these leaks get alot of traffic, I expect the studio to put out something official. They've been very conscious about sitting on their media.

I thought filming wrapped a good while back? I thouht I heard it finished back in April...plenty of time to have done reshoots. If anything, last minute post production stuff...

Production on TMNT wrapped a while back, but some minor reshoots took place recently.

It's definitely coming this year though.

That's not what I'm referring to. They need to do whole block reshoots with Fox and another main cast member (wasn't told who) but they can't do it until April/May. Second unit stuff just wrapped in December. They haven't started reshoots up again yet.

I'm not saying I think they'll move it. But if it's a choice between rushing it to get it out in August or delaying it I vote for delaying every single time. Rushed products are always subpar products.

And there are crew members who can attest to this fact, and have confirmed so online.

Also, there are pictures from the wrap party online as well.

Filming for this project commenced in March, and wrapped in August.

What's happening now are indeed reshoots, but its nothing at all that's gonna keep this film from release. Odds are, Fox's reshoots won't be completed April/May due to her pregnancy, but its unlikely that its any scenes requiring VFX if its happening that last minute.

So, my point still stands.

But it won't be rushed, nor delayed.

That vast majority of filming (At least 90%, not countng second unit) is done, and was completed during Principal Photography.

Also, odds are that the mystery actor is Will Arnett, which reinforces my previous point that its unlikely that what she has film is anything that will derail the project.

That's what you're assuming. Might not want to state things like they're fact.

Don't take my word for it. Reach out to some of the actors involved. They're not too happy with the reshoots (that haven't taken place yet) and might tell you more than they told me.

Honestly, come to think about it, what you've said makes sense. At least, considering that (no farther back than October) there was a report of yet another rewrite being done for this film.

So, if there is a questionably large amount of reshoots to be done, that may be the reason why.

But even still, I don't think Paramount would be smart enough to move it if it needed to be; only if the film would be completely unreleasable in its condition, come July/August

The point would be... making the best film possible?

The majority of spectacle movies get delayed at least twice before they come out. This movie was only delayed once officially. It's not a big deal when it happens for the right reasons.

Again, relax. I'm simply saying I hope it won't be.

Not churning out an unfinished turd of a movie?

I don't care if they push it back 20 times. If it's not ready, it's not ready. It's not like geeks are going to collectively forget about Ninja Turtles entirely in the interim.

Rushing films out the door is a big reason why we end up with so much crap. You don't get quality media by half-assing everything.
