Here's what I want out of a new Namor Ongoing:

Updated Rogues
New Awesome Rogues
Highlander Style Tales that Flash back to WWII and other Eras
Stingray as a major supporting character
Have it tie into the Inhumans Cold War with the USA, Black Bolt Can send Triton down there to bring in Atlantis as an ally.
Keep in more UNderwater than Aove Ground.

I will likely read any Namor Ongoing....hell I liked the last one.....Teen Namor.

I wish it kept going a little longer....I loves me some Namor.

I think me and you were the only ones that liked that.

When they were speculating what Neil Gaiman's next Marvel story was going to be (before they announced Eternals), I was sort of hoping that he'd take a stab at Namor. I think there's a nice canvass there that someone like Gaiman could fill up.

I had this idea of a Namor story where terrorists attack Atlantis and kill a bunch of People so Namor declares war and goes around the globe looking for who ordered the attack. This would lead into conflict with other countries like Latveria, Genosha, America, Wakanda and the Inhumans.

That would make a great story. Now that Caps is on the outs with the US government, maybe they could reform the Invaders. Sign up Johnny Storm and the Winter Soldier.

Agreed. I would LOVE to see World War Hulk involve Hulk & Namor forming a tentative alliance with Black Bolt (as BB WAS involved with sending the Hulk away, iirc, but not so much as Iron Man & Reed were) and attacking the United States by earth, air, and sea.

Not THAT would be an "event", and a good way to re-unite America's heroes who are currently involved with Civil War.

Namor is known for not having that much of a good rouges gallery. That's one important thing for this new series.

Oh my god that NEEDS to happen. Namor and Iron Man Came to blows over this issue, Hell amor Ripped off Tony's Helmet (I can rarely spell that right)...anyway he ripped it off under water well below the surface (Luckily I just re-read the Illuminati one shot a ay ago)

Namor was the only one that really opposed them, but Black Bolt came to odds with them over Civil War, and Dr. Strange told them to **** Right off over Civil War.....So I'm thinking.....at the end of Civil War we see the New Defenders. Dr Strange, Namor, Black Bolt and Mutha ****in Mad Hulk.


Okay so I rolled further than I needed too there, But I could definately see Namor Teaming wih Hulk over this to take down the Illuminati.
