New Poltergeist Movie Coming?

'David' from PoltergeistIII.com tells us he was contacted on Saturday by Charles Cohen, Senior Executive Vice President of MGM, who says the company is working on a new "Poltergeist" project.

"We are working on a Poltergeist idea, and hope to have some news to announce shortly," Cohen was quoted.

Could it be a feature film, a DVD, or a TV project? Stay tuned.

They didn't say anything about a remake. There was a rumour about a remake once (I'm pretty sure the thread about that one is still around somewhere), but that rumour turned out to be false. This sounds more like something new.
