Heh. How convenient that this was like 2 comments down. Black Cat is almost indistinguishable from the TSSM design to me.

Reminds me of Ultimate Spider-Man in the two episodes he's most annoying in:
AWESOME: Steals an android for his science project after weeks of procrastination.
HAWKEYE: Spider-Man and Clint are two annoying characters who should work together, and annoy each other and the audience in the process.

Spectacular will remain the best I think. Why can't they bring it back? Marvel and Sony are working together on the film so why can't they sort something out and bring a 3rd season out? Put it on Disney XD or something.

Because the show is still owned by Sony.
Marvel under Disney went with the cheaper option of making their own after they got tv rights.

That clip was great!

But I'm still bummed about the origin clip. I've watched it several times already and I just don't like it. Peter's voice is fine but he is just so damn obnoxious and annoying. Constant chatter and in an absurd way. It really sounds just like USM but without the 4th wall breaking.

No it's not as stupid as ultimate Spider-Man . I watched a clip side by side. Ultimate Spider-Man feels like it was written by 5 yr olds and has horrible dialogue even when trying to be serious. It's absolutely atrocious. This Peter is way to confident tho. Just my thoughts.

Based on the art of the Spider-Slayer and it's wild colors, my guess is that's not the Vulture but maybe Allistair Smythe's "Ultimate Slayer" duds. Definitely don't think it's Toomes.

Peter is Spidey. Miles will be in this and so will Gwen. Harry is in this, same with Liz, and I think MJ was teased in the short.

Surprisingly I liked that clip more that I thought. Peter was still cringeworthy in places, but nowhere near as obnoxious as the Ultimate version so I'll let it pass for now. My only other issue is that the final shot felt more like shock value to end the clip. I don't think his powers would have kicked in that fast.

Really dig what little we saw of Harry and Liz.

Still cautiously optimistic but in a lot of ways, that clip felt like a breath of fresh air. Moreso even than Sony's entire marketing for Homecoming. There's a lot less stereotypical "Look he's a kid!" stuff in there than we saw from both the last cartoon and Marvel Studios so far, so in that sense it's more "sincere".
