Comics New X-Men: Academy X

Or they're just pointing out the simple fact that Yost and Kyle can't do a damn thing but nearly kill the kids. The people who are voicing this now aren't even ones who have been vocal about this in the past, like Manic and me. More people are realizing that the writers are completely one note, and they need to go.
No, they like to complain. They don't like what they're reading, no one told them to read it. I like Blade as a character, but I didn't like the writing or the art. Know what I did? I stopped reading it. Same thing with ghost rider.(Even though the art was good.) I stop reading things if I don't like it. And the only time I complain is if I'm talking about what I've read in the past from those titles that I've read. It's really simple. People have a right to complain, but I also have a right to get annoyed by people who complain when they don't have to.

Also, what you are saying is not fact. "One note," that's all you say. "Bad writers," that's all you say. And in some cases, "Bad art," That's all you say. The only fact that you are stating is that you don't like what new x-men is giving. Ok, that's perfectly fine. But to contuniously(sp) Go one and on about how terrible this book is is just... I don't even know.

I don't even know why this is getting to me. People will always disagree. This is a disagreement between fans. I like wat I'm reading. Doesn't mean anythng. 20 issues ago I was the exact same way as you.

well I dont agree with this statement bc I rarely have anything bad to say about New X-men. I like the book and always have. One complaint doesnt make for someone "like to complain" as you put it. The fact is "killing" of the children is a bit excessive here, and not to mention unnecesary. Thats a fact from day one since deciMation. Didnt really have to much of an issue with it until now bc we get it in almost every arc

And that's why I said "I don't even know why this is getting to me." Each word I wrote made less and less sense to why I was writing. And I wasn't going after you. And it really doesn't matter. I like death in comics. Others don't. We have our reasons why and why not, but at least most of us like something about this book. Plus I'm still mad it may be gone after MC, and the only thing I'll be reading is X-factor.

I don't mind death in comics, but they already killed so many in a short period of time, they don't need anymore for the time being.

Do we know for a fact that Juilen was killed? Elixer could always heal him......

 You mean so he can die, right? I'd be fine with that.

He's not a fave of mine either, it's that I am no longer quick to assume that anyone dies right away anymore.

Juliain will be fine. He'll be rooming with Blindfold. She said so.

Yeah, he might be able to telekinetically hold himself together enough not to bleed out when Lady D pulls the claws out.

he's not Phoenix. I dont think Julian has that type of control or power. The guy has 5 claws through several vital organs, including his heart and lungs. Thats pretty fatal to me, but like I said, I can see him being brought back to life. I sure hope theres nothing permanent about this "death"

I just now read the latest issue. It was going great until I saw the Julian business. I'm not quite on Manic/Spec level of anti-death in these books but it's getting pretty damn tedious. I'm sure Hellion will be ok but jeez.

I was thinkin to myself how much they've ruined Nori(one of my fav characters). She used to be reserved but calm; now she's always angry and out for revenge. Then she pointed out that 45 students had died at the hands of the Purifiers. That's absolute insanity

Aw man, we saw Victor use his powers so awesomely.:csad: I am going to hate marvel for getting rid of this book. (Possibly)

The book might end, but maybe the kids will be spread into the regular roster wher we can still see them. :)

If this book gets cancelled, I might stop reading comics all together. Only because this is the only book I've be getting regulary.

I like too many just to quit. But I've given serious thought to cutting back if they actually croak my precious Gambit. :(

I might continue reading New Warriors if I can catch up. I'm basically staying in the middle of no where right now, they have one crappy movie theater, and the only comic store is like an hour away in another town (I don't have a car).

I have no problem with that possiblity, but I just won't accept it too well.

I would like that because then they would actually finally go through with turning some of these kids into real X-Men. So many of the kids from past teen books, New Mutants, Gen X, didn't get any real shot at becoming X-Men, and most of those who did, didn't get much chance to really make their mark as an X-Man. The only one who really seems to have been a success is Cannonball.

I actually don't want that. Those kids have too much history to just be lumped into the background of another X-book :(
