That news reader at the start clearly had no clue. I like the look of those real sets on location, it always adds to a movie like this

Viper Isn't female lead.We know her role was beefed up.Most likely to give her more equal footing with the Silver Samurai and Shingen.Just because Fox hasn't issued official
statement doesn't mean we don't know who Is playing Viper.And mariko Is major female character.Big part of this film Is her and Wolverine's romance.It's because of her
Wolverine comes to blows with Shingen and The Silver Samurai.Although It Is also possable Shingen's father was training Wolverine In the way of the samurai and Shingen
has him killed.

Jessica Biel video interview for "Total Recall" and at about 3:35 she's asked why she didn't do Wolverine. She says it was a scheduling issue.

Yeah, I was talking to them about it, hearing what it was about and everything. Yeah. It was not completely out of the realm of possibilities. We just couldn’t make it work.

Are you looking for more superhero stuff?
No, not necessarily for more superhero stuff. That particular character was really cool. She was this vivacious woman who is thrilled about her own immortality, and it was interesting, that kind of persona, I thought, for a quote-unquote “villain” character. And I was really interested in the director, so it was worth the conversation.

Yeah Viper is like the LadyDeathstrike/EmmaFrost/X1Mystique of this movie. She's a supporting character.

But I do hope we get a confirmation news on who's playing Viper.

I think they will mix the characters of the movie opening (from Wolverine:Logan) with the Frank Miller story. The woman from that opening, Atsuko will be Mariko, and i think they will ignore the main villain of that arc, Etahn Warren and replace it for Silver Samurai or Shingen, to give a backstory and some kind of vengeance by the end.

The Wolverine to be filmed in Picton this week

PICTON is set to host the cast of The Wolverine this week.

Hugh Jackman himself is believed to be visiting region when movie-makers take over a section of Menangle St to film scenes for the movie.

A Wollondilly Council spokeswoman confirmed the crew and cast would be using the old hardware shop and Wollondilly Shire Hall, as well as the section of Menangle St in front of the two, for filming.

The road will be closed from noon on Thursday until late Friday. Filming will take place on Friday
