News for the WOLVERINE movie

Hugh sounds so full of himself. Maybe he's been hanging too much with Brett - I'm surprised he didn't say this is going to be his Oscar movie :o

yeah, the "the fans will go crazy" and "we have the best script of all" talk. Pretty old, always lies.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!
Really, this statment has to be the funniest thing I´ve read in any forum, ever!
I´ve been posting in foruns for ages, and I´ve talked and discussed with all kinds of people, but I´ve never seen a poster so arrogant and full of himself. Congratulations!
My, now I understand how hard it must be to be you, trying to educate people on the facts of life and...
Bwhuahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!

Logan Babe and Danoyse know nothing about X-Men comics or comics in general, both have admitted to not caring about the comics and only care about the movies in general.
I have a tip for you. Before you pursue your valuable mission of trying to educate people, you should try to educate yourself first...learning to read is a good start. This is from one of my last posts:

Don´t be obtuse, do you actually read what people with a different opinion from you write? For the 1000000000000000000000005th time, I know the comics, I read "Elektra: Assassin" by Frank Miller when it was first published, I have "Elektra & Wolverine - The Redeemer", I´ve read quite a few Elektra stories, I´m quite familiar with her background, and I maintain that Elektra is nowhere near the popular character Wolverine is.
Of course, learning to read is just the beginning. It helps, but nothing will help you if you choose to be blind to what other people write. :whatever:

It would be the greatest thing ever - an actor wining an Oscar for an adventure/fiction kind of movie!
Go Hugh! Be full of yourself as much as you can, make an amazing Wolverine movie and go grab that Oscar! :woot:

Won't happen, so keep dreaming.

If me speaking the truth and exposing the likes of you is arrogant, then so be it. I simply do not care what you think of me since I've already exposed you as being one who doesn't know the comics or comic book history.

In the end you're a Logan fanatic who has an unrealistic fantasy about Hugh Jackman, which applies to Danoyse as well. I enjoy debating with those who understand the comics, know the comics, appreciate the comics, and are intelligent with their debates.

Unfortunately I haven't seen those kinds of debates from you or Danoyse.

Usually it's the typical "HUGH IS HOT!!!" response. :whatever:

I can't wait for this film to fail. When it fails the Logan fanatics will make excuses and whine about Hugh being screwed over by Fox, despite X3 being a Logan film and making Logan into Jesus Christ without the beard.

The Wolverine film will flop horribly, as will the Magneto film. Their stories are not going to appeal to the regular movie audience and the regular movie do not care about Wolverine's solo story.

Wolverine isn't Batman, Spider-Man, or Superman. Which will make it even sweeter when Batman: The Dark Knight hands Wolverine a major ass kicking.

that would highly increase the chances of X4:)
andisn't this in the wrong forum

You've seen them, you just have no other response than the things you keep making up.

Obviously, someone with a "Cyclops Fans United" sig has the right to start bashing other people for having the audacity to like another character, because it was obviously our fault that your character got the shaft.

I think Loganbabe had backed up plenty of evidence that she reads the comics. I read them too. In fact, it was the first X-Men movie that finally got me to start reading the comics, and I really enjoy them.

Honestly...you're exposing us? What is this, Dateline? No one's come after me with a pitchfork, so maybe no one cares that there are a few Wolverine fans in the room.

Am I supposed to admit with some kind of shame that I'm a Hugh fan as well? I'm not. He's one of my favorite actors. I thought he kicked a** in X-Men. And I saw him on Broadway five times. Hell, he wished me a Happy Birthday once.

So yep, I'm a Wolverine fan, and I will stay a Wolverine fan, thank you very much. And our guy is getting his own movie. Bring it on. :woot:

And by the way...why in god's name is this thread still here???

His own movie that will flop horribly and will be owned severely by the Batman Begins sequel, so be prepared to cry your little Hugh Jackman eyes out come 2008.

I just find it hilarious how you and Logan babe consider yourselves comic book fans, yet, all you seem to talk about is movie Wolverine and how hot Hugh Jackman is. :whatever:

Cyclops isn't the only X-Men I like. My favorite X-Men characters are Beast, Angel, Jean, Bishop, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Forge, Cyclops, and Rogue. Your theory just got shot to hell right now. Nice try though.

So much hate for a fictional character, i can't understand. Its psychoticness is creeping me out. Geesh.

Oh, and someone having a unrealistic fantasy crush on celebrity/comic book character isn't creepy either? :whatever:

Oh yeah, single out the guy who merely hates the overexposure of Wolverine. Just so you know no one is forcing you to read my posts.

It keeps getting funnier and funnier. "Exposed". What a great inquisitor the McCarthyism period lost! :woot:

I don´t see you debating with anyone else, only insulting people. Of course, no one is good enough for the Great Master of Comic Books. :whatever:

Cyclops isn't the only X-Men I like. My favorite X-Men characters are Beast, Angel, Jean, Bishop, Gambit, Nightcrawler, Forge, Cyclops, and Rogue.
My god, you know that many X-Men! Your comics knowledge is really amazing! :wow:

Be worried, danoyse...be very worried. The Spanish Inquisition is coming! :oldrazz:

Of course there's more, I just named a few. It would be pointless to name pages and pages of my favorite X-Men characters and villains. I'll be blunt, I don't like you or Danoyse. I don't like how you two ruin great debates with those who actually have a great understanding of the comics and how a great film works.

I don't like how anyone who says anything negative about Logan or his overexposure, you two feel the need to take it personal and defend Hugh Jackman as if he's going to marry you as a reward. No one hates Hugh and in fact, I happen to think he's a great guy, but if he saw the kind of fans he has he'd probably be scared to actually even speak with you.

The only thing that's real funny is how you continue to defend Logan as if your life depended on it. :yay:

See you in 2008 when the Wolverine film gets its ass handed to it by the Batman Begins sequel.

See, you didn't see me bashing you for liking other characters.

You should try it sometime.

Not hate just an intense dislike. :D

You think this is bad you should check out the comic forum there is a thread called Wolverine sucks.

:p

So it's not just the movie fans.

everyone is reacting against his popularity- times change-favourites change but marvel is content to shove his down our throats

the bottom of the situation was when he magically healed his entire body in seconds after being burnt to a point that only his skeleton remained. Before, he would take days to heal a hurt eye. Now, in three sesonds, there he is again. God, that is lame.

Yea it really takes the fun out of the character knowing he can't be destroyed.

Or when the Incredible Hulk ripped him in half and he dragged himself up a mountain to reattach his legs. And now he's fine.

It always find it odd that, in the comics, the movies, or the animated series, that he can be shot or ripped to shreds and heal in seconds, but then someone clocks him in the head and he's out cold for hours. How'd that happen?? :wow:

It's like the old Superman series, when he'd stand there while someone was firing a gun at him and he'd just smile and let the bullets bounce off. Then the bad guy would run out of bullets and throw the gun at him. And that's when Superman when duck!

That gun might hurt somebody!!! :oldrazz:

he ducked?

really i don't remember that, that sounds ******ed.

But even that i don't think compares too the things they do with Wolvie.

Yeah, in the old 50s Superman series...the bullets bouncing off Superman's chest were animated (as good as special FX were back then, anyway), so he could just stand there and let the animated bullets bounce off. But then the villian would throw the actual empty gun...and that George Reeves would have to duck from.

I saw a comedian do a whole spoof on it using clips from the show. It's really funny. :oldrazz:

I've read that Superman writers run into the same problem--Superman is so indestructible that it's been difficult at times to come up with decent villians who actually stand a chance against him.

Wolverine's healing factor, I think, is only limited by whatever fits into the stories at the time, which is why we get these ridiculous scenarios from time to time. I thought it was great when he didn't have his healing factor after Magneto ripped out his adamantium just to see how his character dealt without it.

Yeah, that's easy. We go apesht if it'll be either good or bad.

So you have chosen to make it personal? Toss insults around, disresepect someone simply because you disagree with their own personal choices regarding which character they like, actor they like, or their opinions?

They are not the problem here. That much is now perfectly clear.

Can I save this post, just so that when the Wolverine film is a success, I can rub your nose in it? :cwink:

No offense to Wolverine BUT I HIGHLY DOUBT IT COULD EVER DO BETTER THAN SM3

Wolverine helped X-Men but it's not the reason the franchise did good.

IMO.

I think the TAS following more than anything helped it do good, not too mentin the social issue within the story.

Sorry bub, but without Wolverine X-Men wouldnt of made 80% the money it did. Fox wasnt interested in making an X-Men movie without him.
