10,000 is what it cost 88 MPH to get the rights for Ghostbusters in order to do the comic series. I hope Murray doesnt give them a hard time with this, They have done a wonderfull job so far with his likeness in the video shown. I want to see all the boys in there glory in this game. Wishfull thinking i know.

The somewhat recent comic from 88 MPH Studios managed to get it in with limited funds. Even if they can't get the car from the movies, the Ecto they have in the clips works fine as a modern interpretation, IMHO. Although they need to ditch the spraypainted logo and put some goddamn doors on the sides.

Oh fair enough then, I still haven't checked out those comics.

That logo is really out of place, considering that everything else is so much more polished than the movies. It seems like you can you customize the car, so maybe you could switch it out.

They are making a Ghostbusters game for x box 360 but still need the licencing. Looks great too.

No, they need the actual Ghostbuster video game rights, which Sony hasn't granted to anyone at the moment.

They could feel free to make a game without the likeness rights, they'd just have to change the characters appearance (ala the cartoon).

As much as i would love the see Akroyd, Ramis, Murray and Hudson in video game form. I dont think i would mind seeing the cartoon versions either, afterall i grew up with them just as much as the movie. But lets hope they secure the rights for the likeness and the game rights.

I've been waiting well over 15 years sequel. what are they gonna releasea GB2 in 2009 20 years after GB2? that would be sweet!
