Next Big Cosmic Event:The Thanos Imperative

Which is why Drax killing Thanos is going to make him the cancerverses "Avatar of Death", and he's going to make everything right in that universe by going on a madman rampage and just destroying everything in his path to something or other.

That'll keep him out of 616 for long enough until someone wants to use him again, give him a good "out" for the series instead of "well, I'm off to be Thanos in my own Thanos way, watch out cause I'm Thanos and I'll kill you if you try and stop me" while Nova/GOTG Just go "uhh, ok, see ya thanos!"

Possibly. Personally, I still think Thanos will be fine since Death is dead in the Cancerverse.

ADVANCE PREVIEW: "The Thanos Imperative" #4

That Silver Surfer looks better colored than those previous B&W images.

Must. Read. NOW!

I think Thanos knew what he was doing when he got in Drax's face. It seemed like he went out of his way to set him off, as if he wanted Drax to kill him.

Ditto. I have no idea why Sepulveda or the colorist or whomever is so afraid to use actual black shadows. Contrast never hurt anyone. :o

I don't mind Surfer's look or writing here, but that probably comes from the fact that I've never been a fan of the Surfer, so my demands or expectations are not high.

At least he isn't doing surfer schtick, like in the last Giffen/DeMatteis DEFENDERS mini from about 4-6 years ago. :o

Personally I like the art for the Surfer. I loved that last scene last issue, the look of Surfer's face was great, disgusted almost.

What does Ron Lim draw these days? Damn it...I want to pick up the Imperative so bad...but...I'll just wait for the hardcover. Unemployment sucks.

Wasn't that...What's his name...the Blacklash artist guy? Way back when Wildstorm was still an Image sub-set?

I don't know, I'm just reading what Wikipedia says. His official website is way out of date, so it's not like he has a go-to source for information on what he's doing now.

My last Ron Lim anything is my War of Kings #1 variant which in typical variant fashion features lots of characters aren't in the book. Covers. Lies.

Checked Marvel's catalog and the Anita Blake books claim Lim as the artist.

was weird seeing the SS smiling when they picked the team to rescue namorita. also does ronan fly by spinning his hammer now?

MAR-VELL!!!!
THANOS!!
Oh ****!

What an awesome issue.

Lim was drawing Skar and his art was better than ever, man that book was pretty decent until Marvel bushwacked it with the new direction.
