Granted, you are kinda right. A action movie getting a limited release and or VOD is only a step up from direct to dvd. And the direct to dvd action market is reeling compared to 10 years ago.

It's about momentum though. Like what I said before, it seems like he does a solid movie in-between the bad ones. Most of the time, it's out of his hands I suppose to his money problems, but he's the same dude who turned down The Expendables 3.

Which is weird, cause he has worked with the production company (NU IMAGE/MILLENNIUM) and the pic's distributor (LIONSGATE) in the past.

I love how the opening scene the guys attacking Israel with jet fighters start bombing the hell out of a wheat field for no apparent reason.

if one would have read the books, there is a very specific reason. a scientist in Israel developed a formula to promote growth in the most inhospitable areas of land (ie: deserts, tundras, etc) and Israel has been flourishing with their abundance of crops and foods et al.
other countries are demanding this formula and threaten force. i believe it was Russia (it's been years since I read it) that tries to bomb them.

I don't see how Schlosser is flame baiting anyone. If anything, Schlosser is saying the Left Behind books suck and don't interpret the Bible correctly. Not that people who believe in the rapture are morons. I don't read that in that post at all, Tanin.

i can see where Tanin is coming from, especially when religious debate has been so heated on these boards recently. i'm going to assume Schlosser wasn't baiting as well.

I'm curious if Schlosser has read the books though. That's a strong opinion to have if one hasn't read the material they're forming an opinion about. (not calling him out, it's just a general consensus that can cover a wide variety of things)
