No Man's Sky

unless I have stock money into this I shouldn't be stressing I'm should breaking furniture.
hopefully he wasn't trying to miss lead in that way and it's bug.

and no it's not ok for him to trick people I'm saying this isn't like it's hasn't happened before in the industry. where some over sold and just said yes too much. they will be punished for it accordingly and should be if teir intent was to mislead to begin with. but there are some that may have not had that intent and just did that for stupid reason and are inthesame boat. and hopefully others should pay attention and not do the same. I just don't li8ke stressing. I have enough problems
Intent is a hard thing to judge. But you should know what is in your game and what isn't. And if something is taken out, you should know and say that. Murray is being a bit shady right now.

Maybe it was my mistake.. But I was always picturing the mp being like destiny.. In a way. Just being able to bump into people on the same planet as you. Not form fire teams, etc.. But if you were there and someone else was as well.. You could run into each other.
I thought it would be like Destiny, except because it is a sandbox, if you two want to go around the galaxy crushing your enemies, you'd be able to.

Well, once GTAO got through it's growing pains it was phenomenal. At this time, do we know he's lying? Or assuming these two players experience is what will happen to every player, every time?
People are confused because it was the different time of day and there was no indication of the two being there. As has been mentioned, you can pause the game, so this element might not be there at all.

yeah that's why I said above ( I said it when you already qouted me so you might have missed it. )

He may not have been trying to mislead. but he did in way. and this case of choose your words more carefully or just being actually more truthful.

in other words they just talk too much . And just want to sell the game. There should more forwardness and they need to be aware of this they've seen other caught withthis mistake . be honest and don't say "{yes "to everything your not sure of if you didn't build the game a certain way say so.

Or maybe say hmmm that's a cool feature we might have to add it in or look into that,(and actually do that) if you really didn't already.

so I'm in agreement

This feels like something I might Redbox for like a week or whatever and just mess around with it. I'm cerebral but I also like to play ****ing Doom. :o

I have to wonder.. If MP isn't there.. Will they patch it in? It would be kind of ****** not to..

I haven't played it, but from what I have seen it would seem it would need a rather large change to have real MP. Probably why they started pitching this as a SP game hard as of late.

I wonder what the online servers and stuff is for then?

syncing your named planets and animals i would imagine. as of right now this is how people are finding out theyre are nearby another player.

People have already got to the center of the galaxy. People have been in the same place at the same time. None of this makes it a bad game. The problem is of course how they hyped this game. As Spider-Who mentioned, they basically planted seeds of this huge, interactive world full of possibility and let the fans build up the frenzy while not contradicting it because well the truth might not be pleasing to the ears. It is why most probably have no idea what kind of game they are getting.

Woah woah woah. I never said Hello Games was lying or refusing to deny false rumors to deceive people.

I wasn't talking about that part. I was talking about the whole fanbase getting hyped off the possibilities. Sorry for not making that distinction.

I haven't played the game but I agree with this. Space should be black. It would feel more awesome seeing planets that way.

How colorful is it? Supernova and nebulae and the various gases are colorful. Some of its out of our visual spectrum but nasa puts out versions that allow us to see what those colors would look like if we could see them:

THAT is what I'd like to see, instead of just feeling like I'm flying through an ocean of koolaid.

I'm glad I didn't grab this day one. Regardless of who said what, and I couldn't give a hoot about multiplayer, it still sounds like there's a few kinks to iron out before No Man's Sky is worth picking up.

I spent 4 hours on one planet just exploring and finding landmarks. I'd.. Say it's worth it.

Do you name your explorer character in the game, or are you just whatever your gamer tag is?

The explorer is nameless, but your gamer tag will appear in the "Discovered by" sections.

Speaking of discovered stuff, if you happen to find "The Money System" (unlikely I know), GO THERE. It's a place I discovered that has a planet FULL of gravity balls (forget exactly what they're called; they're glowing green orbs) and they're worth nearly $30,000. I've been farming for less than an hour and have $1.5 million.

The problem is that it is a very high sentinel level, and as soon as I grab one, I get a level 3 wanted status. So it's been a mad dash to grab as many as I can and run to the nearest outpost where the wanted level resets. Rinse and repeat. Figure I'll do this a few more times so I can get a really nice ship and then I'll be on my way.

Nuts. I really wanted 'Spaceman Spiff', though it was probably taken on the first day.

It would be amazing if it looked like those. The videos and pictures I have seen look like this:

I would like to see planets like astronauts see them from space.

I had a kinda similar experience with a planet loaded with Emeril, a lot of money quickly, but a lot of sentinels.
