I don't dislike her. I'm just fed up with her right now. The whole thing with the marriage/Mephisto crap in the comics, and of course Dunst's MJ, I've just become weary of MJ.
It'll be a breath of fresh air to see another of Peter's love interests get the spotlight for a change.
Wow...Emma Roberts can pull it off. Does she look 18?

yes multiple times and enjoyed it highly but still as a whole gwen does nothing
what bothered me about that book was that its message felt like it boiled down to Gwen>MJI take it you haven't read Spider-Man Blue.

and it is weird, i've noticed that in the last two years or so a lot of fans have turned against MJ all of a sudden.
for those who are bored with MJ, do you feel the same way with other super heroes and their wives/girlfiends? for example would you like the next superman movie to just use lana and save lois for later?
Haha tell that to the anti-reboot trolls anyway he's proven himself credible in the past due to him giving us info on SM4 being cancelled when Raimi,Maguire and Sony were saying that it was still being made.
Also could anyone just make up that the villains originally intended for SM3 was Vulture and Sandman and that Ben Kingsley was originally in talks for the role of Vulture? which we didnt find about until a year after SM3 came out and people were saying that he was making BS when it was revealed that Venom would be the secondary villain instead. he had gave out that info before anyone else did, was that just him saying random obvious stuff then too?
BTW,in the last part of that sentence that ended with a question,I'm referring to the Sandman and Vulture thing as well as SM4 being cancelled.
While Parker's main fight would be with himself, Raimi was determined that Spider-Man bash heads with a trio of other villains. Peter's rich-kid pal Harry Osborn (James Franco) reappears as the New Goblin, taking up where his dad, the Green Goblin (Willem Dafoe), left off in the first movie. In January 2005, Thomas Haden Church (Sideways) signed up as escaped convict Flint Marko, a.k.a. shape-shifter Sandman. Sir Ben Kingsley took a meeting in late February to discuss playing the winged felon Vulture but a week later, that story line fizzled in the still-evolving script. Instead, Raimi swapped in Topher Grace, onetime star of the long-running sitcom That '70s Show, to play Eddie Brock, a photographer rival of Peter Parker's who becomes the toothy fiend Venom. At first, Grace was puzzled at being tapped, since in the comics Brock is a middleaged, muscle-bound guy. ''My first reaction was, This is probably a really bad idea,'' says Grace. ''People are religious about not straying too far from the page.'' But Grace figured Raimi knew what he was doing when he explained that Brock, in the film, would be a kind of dark doppelgänger to Parker.

Again, I don't know why anyone would be tired of MJ. She's only been in the comics and a tv series. MJ hasn't appeared in the movies yet. At least not the MJ I know.
You know they will give Gwen her fate if she is showing up this early in the trilogy and actually being the love interest. Is it still rumors or is it confirmed that Gwen is the love of Peter's life for this movie?
They will kill her off, probably in the 2nd film. Would be very reminiscent of The Dark Knight because Batman Begins had low caliber villains...then Rachel was killed off by Joker in TDK. Gwen and Lizard apparently for this then the sequel could be GG and the whole death of Gwen...Gwen Stacy's death being the climax of the sequel. But don't kill GG off, just end it with a very emotional battle where GG loses but will be back for the end of the trilogy. That is my opinion.
we've had movies with Ryan Renolds making out passionately with Kirsten Stewart when she was barely legal.
I wouldn't doubt him 100%, tbh. If I remember correctly, he did provide us with information on the status of S-M4.
