I actually thought the second one was so much better than the first.

After reading about the author I'd like the franchise to end after this third installment. I enjoyed the first two allot.

As for Whalberg I don't think he should be in Bourne 4 he'll wind up with his own franchise, he'll I'd like to see him in a comic movie, just not sure who I want him to play yet

I like both pretty equally. There really isn't that much of a difference between them, I think. Doug Liman and Paul Greengrass each did a great job...

I think both are great movies, though I slightly prefer the style of Identity as well as that of the Marie/Jason relationship.

Universal won't want to stop at 3 if this goes over well. That much is certain. No studio would really.

However, just to detract from Damon's statement, at the time of the first movie, he was negative in response to the question of sequels being made. He didn't think they would work or that they would happen since the first movie deviated so much from the books' storylines and introduction of characters, etc.

Just saying, he had to kind of be "convinced" to come back for more movies after the first one. Plus with all the talk of the problems the first movie had during production, that might've discouraged him a little from coming back as well. But just saying he did.

Agree, let this end at the 3rd installment. No need to drag this on any longer. Think matt is smart to stop after this,and even smarter not want to do another Ocean's movie.
I think matt did a good job with Bourne character it fit his style,and the movies themselves weren't over the top action flicks.

It's funny everyone talking about 3 books, 3 movies. Have any of you actually read the books? The movies have almost nothing in common with the books other than the title character's name. I'd be cool if they restarted the franchise and actually used the books stories as the plot for the movie.
