Well the 4th movie announcement as well. People in the forums seemed to care a great deal when The Bourne Ultimatum won awards and Transformers didn't. So obviously a few people did care.

You cared the most since we were all trying to focus on the awards while you were still going on about the Bourne awards pages after they were done.

I was simply responding to the moronic ideas of Yurka who could not come up with anything legit to back it up. It's not my fault multiple pages were posted inbetween in the span of about 5-10 minutes.

lol, whatever man im done trying to argue with you.

I should have known you started all the Bourne love threads though.

I don't see your name anywhere in the RATE from 1-10 poll Yurka. Please feel free to vote your NOT LOVE rating for it.

I gave it a 7, I enjoyed the action scenes but I thought the ending was a little weak, and it dragged on as well. The first Bourne however was great.

I think the sound oscar should have gone to No Country, since sound had a pretty important role in some of the scenes, and was very well done.

Looking back in the Oscar thread, and this thread, I am amazed at you, VileOne. I mean, really. You were immature, and acted like I'd expect a n00bie at the Bat Boards or Spider-Man Boards to act. You were ranting all about fanboys, and in the end, you ended up being the biggest fanboy of them all. You called the people who got upset that Transformers didn't win the VFX Oscar fanboys and kept on flapping your gums about it. What about people who genuinely felt that Transformers got robbed, or ILM in general getting robbed? We all know that you would've been ranting like crazy if Bourne didn't end up winning those awards. Did Transformers hurt you in any way? You took the complaints of it not winning any Oscars, and used it as ammo against people for no reason. You used it as some sort of justification for Bourne winning the awards. You acted like there is some secret war between you and other Bourne fans vs. Transformers fans, and that you came out with some sort of victory.

Nobody argued about The Bourne Ultimatum until you came in the thread. Ever since The Bourne Ultimatum came out, you have treated it like the best thing since sliced bread. You couldn't go 5 pages in THIS thread without you proclaiming it, or defending this movie against every single complaint. You couldn't even stop defending this movie in the Oscar thread. You had to respond and defend every single post that was against the movie.

I find it ironic that you are a movie critic, yet you can't respect another person's opinion. You are so excited about throwing the fanboy label out there that you fail to realize that you are the hypocrite. Why can't a person just dislike a movie? Why is it that if they don't like a movie that you like, they are wrong, or they have some vendetta against the movie?

Grow up.

Just had the chance to see the film. Extremely well written (I don't expect anything less from Tony Gilroy, because he's the master of writing.)

Not really. I'm happy it did win several awards. Most of it was bravado that people like you take way too seriously. I did find it hilarious though when some fans were questioning how the Bourne Ultimatum could've even been in the running for best visual effects which it ultimately wasn't nominated for.

I was disgusted by Yurka's comments that NOBODY likes the Bourne movies. No one likes them or cares about them, and everyone will forget about them. Sorry, but I simply challenged something that was outright false and stupid, and I was right. He asked me to back it up, and I did. He couldn't back up his unfounded argument.

It's fine if someone dislikes the Ultimatum, but if they are going to spout untrue BS like "no one cares about these movies, or everyone will forget about them," then as a film scholar, I am going to challenge them to support that.

And if you don't like that, you can block my posts out. I'm not going to change how I post because I hurt your feelings.

Oh great, they're talking about a sequel. More people waiting around in hotel rooms with backpacks until the cell phone rings and then they go get sniped or shot for exchanging information with Bourne (complete with shakey cam). 2.5 hours worth.

cant wait :whatever:

Bravado or not, you were still childish and immature.

You throw all the blame on Yurka, when I was clearly addressing more than that. And with these posts, you prove my posts as valid. :o

Ahh yes. You sure hurt my feelings...:o

Its an internet message forum, get over it.

Addressing what? That I was acting silly about Ultimatum winning awards? If that's it, then I apologize.

You were the one who brought it up in here, so obviously something I said upset you.

As I recall that never happened in the first or second movie. But the way I see it, in this day and age doesn't tracking people via cell phone and blackberry's make sense for those type of bad guys?

Would you rather see another dumb Die Hard sequel with a phoned in Bruce Willis performance?

I'd rather see something entertaining rather than the "bad guys" tracking down ex-spies on they're cell phones and sending in kung-fu expertes to kill them in run down Yogoslovian hotel rooms. Then finding out Bourne was part of the "Weapon X" program.

I mean really, they are gonna over-due the "sakey cam" thing. People will pay to see it just to see if its entertaining because its getting another sequel, but they will walk out bored and tired.

Wow, there is no getting around you. You show your bias yet again. You are an assh*le.

Addressing what? That I was acting silly about Ultimatum winning awards? If that's it, then I apologize.
Addressing that you have to be an opinion nazi towards people will don't like BU, or probably any of your favorite movies. Then you had some BS "...then as a film scholar, I am going to challenge them to support that" crap. You are challenged Yurka because you love the movie so much and couldn't let him say his opinion. If this were about some successful movie that you didn't like, you wouldn't have tried to save the day as a "film scholar" (:lmao:) and "challenge him." You only did it because it was Bourne and you Yurka was ruining your mood by not agreeing with the Oscar win, and everybody knows that.

You were the one who brought it up in here, so obviously something I said upset you.
...wow, Hunter brought it up, too. :o

He said his opinion! It's not that he didn't agree with the win, its that he attacked the film by saying no one cares about the movies and that everyone forgets or will forget about them. And I took serious issue with that because sorry, it's not true.

So . . . ?

Step Up 2 the streets is currently in theatres. Go watch that and be entertained and stop making poor, inaccurate generalizations about the Bourne films where he never went to Yogoslovaia, where ever that is.

I mean really, they are gonna over-due the "sakey cam" thing. People will pay to see it just to see if its entertaining because its getting another sequel, but they will walk out bored and tired.

And this is based on what exactly? Obviously a great amount of people find these movies entertaining and don't leave bored or tired, when you say just want to be entertained.

^:lmao:

There you go again. I am done. You win. I surrender.

"Move On" for Vile goes through one ear and out the other. :o

Tony Gilroy (Michael Clayton was brilliant also), Paul Greengrass and Matt Damon rdabomb! And as a fellow "film scholar" I would say Bourne 3 was probably my favourite new film of '07. (The final edition of Blade Runner was just incrediable.) I also reccommend Once.
