^Gotta wholeheartedly disagree, Identity had the most energy, and the most interesting story IMO. The stories in S and U were basic re-hashed of Identity with a few new twists IMO. The corrupt government officials storyline was IMO old bu the time Ultimatum came.

I thought that Identity story-wise was a huge bore. The so-called twists had me saying ''so, who gives a ****?''. The answers to Bourne's past and the twists in the sequels DO have impact because of the raw intensity of the whole film. The closer connection to Bourne is what makes the difference.

Identity was about equal story wise to the others but had the better shot action and Marie, which gave the film some heart in comparison with the cold, emotionless follow ups.

I hope you never step foot on a plane or a boat Hunter Rider. It sounds like you got a weak stomach.

If I fly i don't do so for entertainment value. My stomach is horror movie strong but i see no enjoyment is a cameraman with a twitch when watching two ppl have a basic conversation.

Damon played the character great in all three, IMO, he showed emotions in identity and in the beginning of supremacy, but after Marie died, he went directly to an angry, cold-hearted killer, who just wanted to move on with his life.

Honestly, what more do we find out in Supremecy and Ultimatum about him? His name, and.......thats about it. The 'big reveal' at the end of Ultimatum that he volunteered for the project was something that was obvious from the start to me personally, so it was no big reveal to me.

So Bourne Ultimatum was nominated for three Academy Awards. Editing, Sound Editing, and Sound Mixing. An absolute travesty those are the only categories it was nominated in.

They really should have some new categories... Like, biggest badass in a motion picture... or is that too MTV?

I agree. While I dont think it deserved winning it, it was definitly one of my favorite films of last year, and wouldn't surprise me if it had a nom for Best Picture.

Well it won't. And that's the problem. The Academy will never consider or recognize movies like this. The only sequels that would ever get best picture nods were the Lord of the Rings movies.

I think its a problem with how flawed their system is. I mean c'mon. I liked Juno, but c'mon freaking Juno.

The Oscars are simply a popularity contest, I mean, it's ****ing ridiculous that Zodiac didn't get A SINGLE nomination, while it should have been nominated for;
Best Director,
Best Motion Picture,
Screenplay Based on Material Previously Produced or Published
and Cinematography.

Yeah, I've seen that video a few times. It's genius.

''Who's Jimmy Kimmel?''
''I didn't say Jimmy''

In case anyone was wondering, The Boune Ultimatum won every Academy Award it was nominated for . . . all three including best editing.

:( . . . not.

The majority of editors should've voted for that movie then.

I love No Country for Old Men, was my favorite movie of 2007, but The Bourne Ultimatum was my second favorite movie of 2007, and I've never seen a film have a nine minute action scene and make it feel like 2 mins. I showed someone the film and I said, you see why it's nominated for editing, that action scene is 9 mins, and she said "That's nine mins! It felt much shorter than that. We were totally sucked in and editing has a lot to do with that.

The Bourne Ultimatum was the best in the series and with the best martial arts fight scenes in all the 3 movies (in fact, some of the best or among the best martial art fight scenes in any movie). I really enjoyed it. I hope Matt Damon continues to play roles like these with the same style of martial arts.

Wow if they really go beyond three, it looks like Universal is really aiming to have their own Bond spy franchise.

i doubt it will ever reach past 5... never in a million years 22...lol

even saw will probably die on its 7th movie then straight to dvd from their

1. NO. Look at my signature.

2. I'm high on The Bourne Adulation.

You're high on 3 awards that no one cares about ? good for you man, i am sure the Cohen's are really upset about the editing one while holding their 3 Oscar's that actually matter. :o
