All I know is the piercing stuff creeps the hell out of me, which is probably why I won't see it, at least not in theaters.

Eh, it's not really a movie that appeals to me. Maybe I'll get around to seeing it, but I'll be passing on the theater release.

i'll probably rent this one. it appears to be getting good reviews...but i think its gonna bomb pretty hard at the box office.

Well, I saw it at a sneak preview. I have to admit, I am really confused about the ending Mel Gibson chose to go with. For some reason the Jews come out of no where and just wipe out the Mayans. Very odd ending.

Either way, I got way too many movies on my plate anyway, and plan on watching Blood Diamond instead.

I saw the trailer, it made me kinda uncomfortable. I don't really know why.

Yea, but thats not even the strange part. It then cuts to Rome in a grave yard. 2 people are talking about how "the tyrannical Jews are destroying everything." One remarks "If only someone was here who could stop them." They walk off, and it pans down to the tombstone which reads "Jesus"...and suddenly the zombified hand of Jesus bursts from the ground. Then the screen reads "The End.....?"

I think it looks pretty darn fantastic actually, I'll definately being seeing it in on a big screen for full effect. I dont see it appealing to the masses though and like Marvel said will probably bomb at the B.O.
And obviously some people will still not be able to see past Mel's personal life

Well, we're always griping about how there aren't enough R-rated flicks for our taste anymore, and the two main releases this weekend are not family fare. If they don't do well, Hollywood will just take it as a sign to release more sugarcoated goodness.

He's not supposed to be Aussie, he is doing a South African accent, a pretty good one at that.
