I was just wondering what the people around us are saying about this movie. Everyone on this board is such a rabid fan and we're almost all going to see this film, but what are the people around you who are not into the X-Men saying? Like your family, friends and co-workers.

My youngest is excited. My oldest doesn't give a hoot, but she's 12 and doesn't care much about anything anyway (except a certain musical group and a particular boy in her class). My hub says it looks interesting (he's interested in Beast and how that will pan out)

Hm well, my sister enjoyed the trailer and really wants to see it.

Few other friends said they're gonna see it, too. No one TOO excited about it.

Not enough awarenes in the UK. Most people I know saw and liked X2 so will probably see X3 but they wouldn't know when it's coming out. They'll just turn up at the cinema and see it if it's on.

Hey,i'm a freaking XMEN fan but i'm not gonna watch this crap after the latest news about Cyclops fate.I will leave an open window though...I'm gonna wait and learn what trully happens to him and then i'll decide if i'll give my money to FOX and the same goes for all my friends.

Better? :p

everyone I know is pretty excited...they don't usually see as many movies as I do during the summers but they said that its on their list of 'must see movies'....some are fans, others have enjoyed the movies...
I was also at a bar lastnight and an X-TV-Spot came on...a few of the patrons were asking to turn it up but it was over before the bartender could turn up the volume...there was some chatter going on and I was pretty stoked to hear that...you see, we read the spoilers here and either get really excited or very dissapointed...but thats not how the average movie going audiences see it...they're going no matter what:)

eversingle person i know loved the teaser.....and i think thats all they have seen and they STILL think it will be awesome as hell

That's more or less the impression I'm getting.

I never even talk to my friends about the movie. It actually never been brought u in any of our conversations.

I go to a art school in which there is like a major "sequential art" program, ie comic book geeks, who are more hardcore than some of us on here and all I can do is hear them ***** about Jean's costume and Juggernaut and such. They bad mouth it constantly, yet, they beg me to play the TV spots on the computers for them in class.......kinda like these boards. Deep Love = Excessive Bytching.

I talk about it constantly (It's even the basis of my final art project at college :p) some of my friends are like "Haway paul man, give it a rest" lol and others are just as psyched as me about this movie. I'm converting as many people as I can :D

My Dad wants to see it, but probably on TV since my mom doesn't care for such movies. My sister will see it cause her husband loved X-men when he was growing up. He likes Cyclops alot.....I'm glad I haven't told him any potential spoilers. My brother will probably see it because he saw the others, He grew up on Superman, so he doesn't really care about the X-men franchise alot. My friends though are hilarious. They know I'm a huge X-men fan, so they go around the internet and e-mail me links to the trailers and clips I'd seen on these boards a month before. I still thank them for trying. So all my friends I think are excited cause they know I am. I'm also assembling a large group of people to see the first mid night showing...and requiring they dress like a comic character. I've never done anything that reeks to that level of dorkdom, but If I can make a non comic fan paint himself blue as Beast, and a hot non comic fan girl dye her long blonde hair red cause she thinks Jean Grey is a cool character, then you know what? I'm all for it :)

I'm doing my hair like Wolverine and shaving my facial hair. I tried to talk my wife into at least wearing a white wig and going as Storm, but she refused. :(

My Sister is not a comicbook fan like me, but thanks to me, because I`m a Great X-MEN Fan, she knows who is Gambit and she loves him, and she is very angry because Gambit don`t have a role in X3.

But my sister has a hope that Gambit make a cameo in X3.:up::xmen::xmen:

Well my brother is exited....and a few others to...my brothers girlfriend is in it also now

Most people I'm friends with are going to see it. Everyone loved X2, but none of them are anywhere near the level I'm at. But alot of them don't live around me anymore so It won't be the same.

I'm sure many of you had family & friends that watched "That 70's Show" and caught the preview. Any variation in anticipation levels?

well i've been hyping up by friends all year lol and showed the trailer to a few of my family and they thought it was great
