Not sure if it's true, but maybe it was inevitable...

A DTV Lost Boys sequel...
Kill me now.

I know.
We only need 14 more in 8 years, and then we can prove Robert Zemeckis owns a flying DeLorean.

Actually, I'd suggest Universal sue for the rights to all the Jaws ripoffs that have been made since, then package them all together in a RiffTrax DVD boxed set (commentary by Mike Nelson) called The JAWS Ripoff Collection: This Time It's Crap. That should cover the distance. :oldrazz:

Wasnt Deep Blue Sea supposed to be Jaws 5?

Jaws 5 WTF?:csad: Oddly enough I was thinking about this earier so I'm not surprised.

2 direct-to-video sequels to “The Fast and the Furious”
I'd rather they weren't made at all, given how crap the previous 3 were, but I guess DTV is the next best thing.

i never saw the 3rd fast and the furious, but the 1st was great, and the 2nd was pretty okay... and i heard pretty good things about the 3rd one. i don't know what it did at the box office, but DTV seems kind of stupid.

Did you watch the one were Vin Deisel showed Paul Walker his dad's car, thus obviously setting up the finale of the movie with all the subtlety and grace of a hammer to the back of the skull? That was the one I saw. I could actually feel myself getting dumber whilst watching that movie.

yes... god forbid that a movie about race cars and underover cops wasn't like, shakespeare.

please, kid.

May as well have been, it was the first shark movie made by a major Hollywood studio (WB) since "Jaws: The Revenge" (plus I still have an old issue of Cinefex where Harlin says the idea for "Deep Blue Sea" came from him watching the animatronic whales in "Free Willy" and wondering how awesome "Jaws" would have been with that level of technology).
