Nothing Can Stop The Klaw! - Andy Serkis As Ulysses Klaw

I like how practical and realistic they made his sound weapon arm. It could easily have been really corny or over-the-top.

At first I thought the blaster came out of his sleave, but it's awesome the way his prosthetic hand opens up into his sound blaster. Thats some cool stuff right there!

Surfer

He was his first foe. I think there's a strong argument Killmonger beats him as far as biggest foe goes, though.

I mean, in the books he is the one who killed T'Chaka -- in front of a young T'Challa (who subsequently cut/shot off Klaw's arm) in most versions of the story -- and has at least somewhat successfully invaded Wakanda on a number of occasions -- one of which in turn essentially created Erik Killmonger -- both for vibranium and as a personal vendetta against T'Challa and Wakanda at large for thwarting he and his family's efforts to invade the country. (Oh yeah, he comes from a familial line of colonizers and Nazis who have been interested in Wakanda for at least a generation or two.) He might not be the strongest or most combat-capable foe, but I'd think he's certainly at the top of the list.

I have a feeling that Klaw is going to be the Crossbones of this movie.

Based on his lack of presence in the marketing, but Chadwick said he is true villain of the film so we'll see.
I mean it seems more like Killmonger is the true villain. Seems like he's using Klaw in order to usurp the throne of Wakanda.

However, it also does seem like Klaw will have a little more screentime than Crossbones did in Civil War.

Could have been a red herring but maybe Killmonger is more of a sympathetic villain along the lines of Fassbender's Magneto while Klaw is just a straight up bad dude. He screams "secondary villain" to me, but that's just because we've only seen him in that sort of role in the MCU so far.

Probably more Rumlow/"Crossbones" in TWS, than Crossbones in CW, in terms of screentime.

I found it odd that MCU had Ultron taking Klaw's arm - sort of looses his motivation for hating the Panther...

Not really. Klaw also mentions that he suffered greatly (or something to that effect) at the hands of the Wakandans. T'Challa could have been involved with that, as we do know Klaw was branded. We'll know more once the film is released.

He had like what 10minutes in TWS and 3minutes in CW. Maybe less in TWS

A good character, but I didn't think he needed to be more than a sub-villain.

I hope Klaue survives this film-- also I'm not enthused about him becoming the "pure sound guy" for the movies. If he's a cyborg that has his humanity intact (well, not morally) then that's fine by me.

hope we get the classic Kirby Klaw!

Klaw was great. I'll wait till the movie is out world wide before I really get into detail, but he served his purpose well.

Agree, [BLACKOUT]he was never going to be more than what he was. Good side villain.[/BLACKOUT]

I was very surprised with where they took his character.

While I agree, I didn’t like them [BLACKOUT]killing him off[/BLACKOUT]. But can understand it at the same time.

It seems more and more films do this. Use maybe the more established character/actor as a dummy villain and then switch it to shock audiences.

Bruv that infuriated me. :cmad: This is the problem with Marvel and most big Hollywood movies. [BLACKOUT]Why do they have to kill the villain? EVERY damn MCU flick. Why can't a villain be rehabilitated, learn form there ways, or live to fight another day? There is a reason people keep sucking Loki off. He's in the movies just as much as the hero. The give him time to grow. Klaw was starting to keel liek the Joker to T'challa's Batman, and the WASTED there opportunity. He would have been a great reoccurring side villain. He could have teamed up with Doom for a Doom War story arc. 2 GREAT villains and they killed them BOTH off!?[/BLACKOUT] Sorry about the rant.
