I cant understand people, who votes for Casino Royale

Just look at how good are movies like Night at the Museum and Happy Feet to be hits.

CR can be hit, but it won't make even more than $150m, while I am sure NATM and HF will do about $190-210m.

CR being massive hit doesn't make any sense.

This thread is about your predictions, not about movies to which you are looking forward to.

How do you come to that conclusion? The movie isn't being released for several months.

Look, it has only one teaser.

It will be released in October, so it should have had trailer in this month, but it looks like this movie will get the trailer only at the end of August.

With only one trailer, this movie won't make so much.

It's a James Bond flick, so of course it makes sense. Are you saying $150 million isn't massive?

Seems to it will be between Rocky Balboa and Casino Royale if the new Bond do his job this time.

It doesn't mean it's not going to have another trailer...

The X3 trailer didn't premiere until 2 months before it was released.

Same thing for Star wars, It's first trailer came out in April, that was only about a month and a half before it came out.

Superman also was Superman, Batman was Batman and what happened?

$150m is massive, but my forecast is $112m domesticly.

CR has Die Another Day to follow, which came out 4 years ago. And despite the quality, it was a major hit grossing $160 million. It's still a very bankable franchise.

SR and BB had sequels that didn't appear 9 and 19 years beforehand, which bombed.

But, there is big quanity of Craig's haters.

Besides, kids will want more to go to see HF, which will make huge box office and be very serious competitor for CR.

The Fountain has Hugh Jackman.
Exactly, and Rachel Weisz, who won an oscar last year, and might this year as well.

And?

I am sure most of people even dont know that this movie is going to be released.

The Fountain need bigger promotion.

I've only heard fanboys complaining about Craig. It won't be enough to sabotage the film.

Well, duh. HF is more of a family film while CR is geared more towards adults.

And I can't see HF making more than Over the Hedge.

Which it will get, just like how X3 got more promotion as the film grew closer to release. TF won't get as much promotion, but it'll have enough.

The Fountain is still 3 months away. There's plenty of time to promote the hell out of the movie.

Your right it does.
Either way, Its gonna be a great movie.

HF has so much fun, that every kid will want to see it.

And it has bigger promotion.

CR ismore like Bourne movies, there will not be so much action.

Well, I hope it will have critical success and get 3-4 nominations of Oscar Awards.

Look, The Fountain isn't blockbuster, can you understand this?

And Supremacy made $176 million domestically, so there is an audience for that...

I could understand it, had I even said it would be a blockbuster. Which I didn't...

*raises hand*
ME!
Craig is gonna rock as Bond.
who cares what he looks like, it all matters on how well he acts like Bond, which I think he'll do very well.
And too the person who voted for Eragon, you're probably right.
