I know I haven't been around for discussion this season (or last), but do you guys feel the lag this season? Like the series is really 'meh' now? I just feel like, ever since the writer's strike (maybe a little before?), N/T is no longer MSTV (let alone DVR).

I actually can see Christian passing in the series finale, it'd be a unique way to end a unique show. I've quite liked this season too

Sean in a wheelchair and Christian boing Liz was enough in Ep 2 for me believe N/T had jumped the shark (if that is even possible for a show like this??) Not to mention a "stable" Matt

...but i happened to catch the last 15 or 20 minutes tonight. Didn't seem like I missed much.

I could see Christian dying in the series finale. I think even Ryan Murphy has stated that not everyone has a happy ending at the end of the series. He said he knows how it will end and it's all leading up to it.

though I don't want him to die...I'd be pissed if he ended up living at this point, since they said he would.

I still love this show but pretty much everything since the carver storyline has been meh for me. I sooooo want the triumphant return of the greatness which was Quentin Costa

I always thought the Carver storyline was too soap opera-ish. The best were seasons 1 and 2, IMO.

Dont get me wrong seasons 1 and 2 were great but I just loved the carver storyline he was such a great villian and just season 3 in general I just loved cuz that whole season is just ****ed up and thats the whole reason i started watching this show in the first place

I gotta agree. While it was formulaic of traditional TV serials, I really dug the Carver arc/season.

rhona was nice. But I didn't like the sean subplot of helping out witness protection program and getting it on with Anne Heche. Also, Matt getting beaten up by trannies and then going out with a Nazi was meh. It strayed from the core sean/christian friendship, IMO.

season 4 was the worst I hated season 4 the only thing that was even remotely kool about that season was the whole organ harvesting storyline

See, I saw that season finale for Matt as a point of NO RETURN psychologically. I really don't think you can become a stable citizen of society after doing/beating trannies, being beaten by trannies, taken hostage by Nazi dads, witnessing hostage castration, subsequent shooting/murder, and we're not even tackling sleeping w/his sister and getting addicted to METH (IMPOSSIBLE TO REHABILITATE) last season or two....I'm just saying, I don't think it makes sense to treat him like this guy that is strong enough to overcome that and still become this "brilliant surgeon/civil servant".
