Matt going to jail and getting released was pretty big too.

The whole season's been kinda meh. I think the biggest thing to happen (besides Kimber killer herself) was Julia's mother trying to take the children, and Julia setting her up. Beyond that, ain't s*** happen all season.
damn, pretty much

I agree. Been a really bad season so far. Worse than season 4, IMO.

Last night ep was weird. I can't put my finger on it but it just was.....

It was a decent episode in comparison to the other episodes this season. I don't know what the point of the storyline with Escobar's daughter was though. It didn't really go anywhere. It was the Virginia Hayes storyline that caused the real drama.

the stuff that happened to them last night is going to catch up to them fast. Before, the crocs took care of the bodies so there wasn't any evidence but just burying a body in the desert will not cut it anymore.

I do like the building tension between Christian and Sean though. Sean seems like he's just about had it with Christian. Last night i thought he was going to kill him. Next week's therapy session looks interesting. I wonder how this series is going to end.

I just can't imagine the series ending with Christian and Sean not being best friends. That would really surprise me.

I think that ship has sailed dude. Sean loathes Christian at this point and i dont think theres any going back. I think the series will end with them being 'stuck together' somehow. They seem to be destined to be together but that doesnt mean they're necessarily buddies still.

This show is starting to get back on its footing. I thought Escobar's daughter was going to be evil, and she might turn out to be, but so far I like that both she and Sean are trying to do the 'right' thing, and it might wind up sending both Sean and Christian to jail or worse. I think the daughter's appearance last night was the first part of a downward spiral for the two. She was the catalyst, in a way a nice way to bring the two full circle.

Awful, awful episode. Another boring episode dedicated to Sean and Christian not getting along, and wanting to split up the partnership.....again! Yawn. Wow, this is only like the fourth time they've done this storyline :whatever:

Matt is hands down the worst character in TV history. He is sooooooooo annoying and stupid. God, I hope he dies in the end. It's the only ending he deserves.

Dude, i agree. I mean both Sean and Christian werent the best parents in the world to Matt, but who the hell is HE to blame them for the stupid crap he's done during this series? Everything he's done is on him, not Sean or Christian. Sean especially has always been trying to help Matt and keep him stable but Matt was just a screwed up kid. After bailing him out of jail, this is how he repays them? Matt is definitely one of the worst characters in tv history.

I liked the episode. I agree with kguillou about Matt blaming Sean and Christian for his past mistakes. The kid obviously hasn't grown up and matured by now. What's worse is this immature screw-up is a parent...I hope when Jenna grows up, she's blames Matt for all her mistakes.

I give this episode credit for being about character exploration, even though this beef between Sean and Christian has been recurring throughout the series, and also the episode gave us a glimmer of the futures for Matt and Liz, but beyond that I found it pretty boring and way too talky. I miss old N/T with the crazy stuff and the strange twists and turns. This show lacked any sense of urgency or passion. I don't understand why the writers are wasting their final episodes on stuff like this. Why can't they be guiding this show to a more satisfying conclusion? I guess N/T will be another example of the journey being more entertaining or important than the destination.

I also don't get why Matt is cancelling out both Sean and Christian, and I totally agreed with Christian that Matt will come crawling back eventually. Sure both dads had a hand in not raising Matt properly, but none of them made him run that girl over, do drugs, rob stores, etc. He did all that on his own. If anything both dads were always there to pull him out of the fire, though they chewed him out about it.

Next week's episode looks much more promising. Joan Rivers is back, and we get to see Christian's real father, played by the great Robert Davi.

We found out in season 3, when Christian was arrested for being the Carver, and his real mother visited him, she told him he was the product of a rape. That his father was a serial rapist who would cut off pieces of his victims to keep as a trophy.

Can't wait.

The first full episode of Nip/Tuck I've watched in a while. It was pretty good IMO.

I felt so bad for Christian during that storyline. At least he finally got to meet his biological mother even though she wanted nothing to do with him at the end. He also got to help his half brother get into University of Miami.

I really enjoyed this last episode. I appreciated that it all took place in therapy sessions and there wasn't anything too crazy going on. Next week looks like it's going all psychological.

I was about to come in and say how lame and pointless this ep was (and it was) but damn am I excited for next week. Famke finally comes back. One of the best storylines the show ever had was with her and Matt IMO

If you think about it, it was that storyline that made Matt the messed up kid that he was throughout the series. When he found out Ava used to be a man, Matt completely lost it and its been a downward spiral since then.

The Ava storyline was THE best storyline the show ever had, IMO.

I can't wait for next week.
