What are Nintendo's Satoru Iwata and Eiji Aonuma looking at in this picture? A baby bird? A wedding ring? No -- it's a unique pre-order item for the upcoming Nintendo 3DS A Link to the Past sequel The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds. Depending on how big of a Zelda fan you are, the full Vine clip may have you frothing with desire.

Wipe away that froth if you're unwilling to pay import fees, though, as this cute little thing is available as an exclusive pre-order bonus in the UK only. It might be worth the extra cost, though, if you're looking to complete a Link cosplay ensemble, or if you just crave the instant validation of da-na-na-naaaaa! at any given moment.

Spent two days playing the hell outta this game. I love it. It's probably my favorite Zelda thus far. I've never really played Wind Waker before, so this is absolutely amazazing.

Yeah, I would say Wind Waker has always been my favorite 3D Zelda outside maybe Majora's Mask. I remember how divisive it was back in the day due to the art style, but it seems to be generally more liked now. The improvements on the HD remaster really make it all the more better. I'm glad I ended up biting on it.

I wonder how Wind Waker would have been received if it had an art style more like Twilight Princess.

The game did add a certain depth to characters we hadn't seen before - like giving Ganondorf's character some dimension.

It would have probably been heralded as the great Zelda that rivaled OoT.

I'm glad it didn't. The cell shading gave it such a unique look.

I think we should have a Zelda game where we play as Zelda/Sheik. Sheik most of the time. Maybe set in the TP era.

Was she Sheik in that game? I thought it was just OOT that she did the Sheik disguise.

I think there were plans for Zelda to be Sheik in TP early in development but the idea was canned. It's believed they reused the concept art for Sheik's TP design in Brawl.

Ah okay, I never finished TP, so I wasn't sure. Was thinking about picking that up again yesterday coincidentally.

Link's Awakening, Oracle of Season and Ages, Minish Cap, and now a Link Between Worlds, Zelda is one of the few franchises where both the handhelds and the console games are all epic games.

It's a good handheld title, but I have to think, if you never played Ocarina of Time until the 3DS version, and then you played this... it's rather underwhelming by comparison.

Then again, Ocarina of Time was the greatest game ever when it came out, so maybe the comparison is a bit unfair.

But I do think they could make a truly great handheld - if they cared enough. I am guessing they just don't get the same resources and manpower as the home console versions.

Oh no I don't think that way. I'm simply mocking them. But yes I played Oracle of Ages and liked it.

Mine, too. Although if they ever do Majora's Mask for the 3DS or WiiU, I wonder if they would keep Termina as a parallel to Hyrule or make unique character models.
