Please no multiplayer.
well it's Nintendo un like capcom they understand the word optional so you wont be forced you'll still have what you want. and don't have to touch that feature ever. Please no multiplayer.
Any work on MP means resources taken from the main game. There is no way around it.well it's Nintendo un like capcom they understand the word optional so you wont be forced you'll still have what you want. and don't have to touch that feature ever.
I expect it to be as story heavy as OoT, WW, TP, and SS.Nintendo has proven them selves to not have that trouble there unlike most that have that issue cause they are new to having such a feature while Nintendo has been at that for years with it's Mario titles ad more prior to that. they'll be fine the know how to balance. I don't know how story heavy you expect this to be though but we'll see.

Speaking with Game Informer magazine’s online website, The Legend of Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma once again reiterated that the next game in the series would not be a strictly single player experience.
“The two-player functionality of Hyrule Warriors is actually something that has traditionally been done in the Dynasty Warriors series, but they’ve changed because of the hardware and the second screen on your GamePad,” Aonuma said. “Instead of having a splitscreen on the television, you have one-player playing on the television and one on the GamePad.”
He added, “When I was talking back about making Zelda more than just a single-player experience? That’s something you will see in the future, maybe next year.”
In the past, Aonuma has stated that he isn’t necessarily considering a traditional multiplayer experience for Zelda. For example, Aonuma considers the Tingle bottle feature in The Wind Waker HD to be a form of interacting with other players that makes the game a little more than a single-player affair.
“They share their experiences, things that they’ve discovered through their explorations, and so again you can feel their presence without their physically being there,” Aonuma said at the time. “That’s a kind of multiplayer, if you think about it. With the new Wii U Zelda, we’re coming up with new ideas that still allow the one-Link idea but are the same type of multiplayer.”
The Legend of Zelda for Wii U is planned for release sometime in 2015.
One, that is Rare. Two, that was what, 15-20 years ago.Jet force Gemini and a few others that how. with rare.
And it's still worth mentioning as they did that with most of their other mario titles like their party games and and others similar which had story and the same still applies ad it's not nintendo fully doing this ether it's the dynasty worriers people with Nintendo over seeing ad publishing it all as they did Rare and others. One, that is Rare. Are you comparing Mario Party to the main title Zelda? There is no comparison. Completely different beast. And it's still worth mentioning as they did that with most of their other mario title like their party games and and other similar which had story and the same still applys it's nintendo fully doing this ether it's the dynasty worriers people with Nintendo over seeing it all as they did rare ad others.
look they found that replaced rare ad Dk is doing fine the added more the More player modes to that and people still had fun they did the same with other Mario titles as well and people still had fun . they did it in the hand held versions of Zelda and there been alot of those. And they are exploring it with this now. You can just be more character wise then just play another version of Link. Are you comparing Mario Party to the main title Zelda? There is no comparison. so I'll let this ride outthey did it in the hand held versions of Zelda and there been alot of those. And they are exploring it with this now. You can just be more character wise then just play another version of Link.
Which I am completely happy with. If that is as far as it goes, beautiful.Guys....he compares his "multiplayer" ideas to leaving Miiverse messages in bottles in Wind Waker HD. Dude is obviously not talking about a traditional multiplayer approach.

Earlier today, we reported two new characters who’ll be in Hyrule Warriors, with Agitha from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and an unknown character by the name of Lana. Game Jouhou updated their report with a few more details on Lana, and more.
According to this week’s Famitsu issue, Lana the White Witch is an original character for Hyrule Warriors, who fights using some sort of magical book by creating walls to blow away enemies. The walls can also be destroyed, causing a shock that damages enemies, as well.
Additionally, it has been revealed that Hyrule Warriors also has the iconic Hookshot item or weapon, which can be used to reach areas that can’t normally be reached. As previously reported, the moon from Majora’s Mask is in the game, and it’s actually an attack from an enhanced item.
The update in the Game Jouhou report also indicates that Agitha fights with a parasol as a weapon, along with attacks that summons bugs.
Hyrule Warriors will be released on August 14 in Japan, September 20 in Europe, and September 26 in North America. You can also, check out Impa and her gigantic long sword in action, here.

Tecmo Koei released a new video of Hyrule Warriors thats all about Impa. In the hack and slash action game, Impa is the Commanding Officer of the Hyrule Imperial Guard. She wields a long sword and it looks like her attacks are a bit slower than Links, but have more impact. The slide attack looks useful for crashing into enemy waves and perhaps dodging King Dodongos fire breath.
Impa was in the E3 demo, which was set in the same area as this video, but she was not playable. New characters were revealed for Hyrule Warriors in Famitsu including Agitha from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and Lana.

Princess Zelda is one of the many playable characters in Hyrule Warriors. She usually fights with a rapier, but she can finish off attacks with a bow if you charge ahead of time.
Using a heavy attack when no enemies are present makes Zelda stock orbs. This move takes a couple of seconds and leaves Zelda vulnerable, but orbs can modify her finishing moves like giving her a giant bow blast. The trio of elemental magic spells is Zeldas Focus Spirit combo, a special attack you can use after going into Focus Spirit mode by using magic jars.
Hyrule Warriors comes out on August 14 in Japan on Wii U.
Many characters from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess are in Hyrule Warriors too. Midna and Agitha are playable characters. New Hyrule Warriors screenshots show the menacing moon from The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask and Midna using the hookshot. Zant and the Argorok from Twilight Princess appear as enemies in Hyrule Warriors.
