YES! The Wizards got Nick Young.

Late post, but whatever. Really excited about the pick. Wanted either him or Stuckey in the first round.

But you need a center. Badly.

Blazers buy a pick from Phoenix.

Crittenton:
Strengths: Tremendous combination of size, athleticism and playmaking ability ... Quick first step ... Excellent vision and passing skills ... His size allows him to see over defenders and make passes that the average 6-2 PG could not ... Shows great heart, very competitive. Wont back down from a challenge ... Very quick, an elite level athlete ... Loves to dunk on players ... Excellent body strength ... Rhythm shooter, with good slashing and scoring ability ... His huge hands give him excellent control of the ball ... Very unselfish player ... Excellent foot speed, overall quickness and effort makes him a tough defensive player ... Works hard to improve his game, very coachable ... Has a great attitude, confident but not cocky ...

Weaknesses: Needs to improve upon his outside shot, which is solid but can improve ... Can be too unselfish at times trying to get everyone involved when he is the top scoring option ... Can be too aggressive defensively and get caught reaching, picking up unnecessary fouls ... Needs to prove himself on the college level. Become a great decision maker and learn to lead a team on the next level ...His ability to play the point guard position is very good, but he can continue to improve upon dictating tempo and learning the nuances of the position ...

Hahahaha, that Arenas/Durant NBA Live commercial is hilarious. So is that Papi SportsCenter one.

What's the scoop on Javaris Crittenton? I don't know much about his play in Georgia Tech.

please guys:huh:

who is this guy??? why the heck do we need him??:csad:

Mark Jackson's reaction: You drafted a point guard last year in Jordan Farmar. You don't need another one here. You don't even need a point guard in Phil Jackson's system. You run the triangle and won a title with Ron Harper at the point. Come on, Lakers. YOU'RE BETTER THAN THAT!

I remember Crittenton and T. Young both being really hyped up as high school prospects. But the only game I saw them in was against Virginia Tech. Personally, I was not impressed with either.

But they both have a lot of potential with their athleticism and size.

I just got home guys and I'm going through the draft picks. Was Joakim Noah supposed to go down that far. I haven't really paid much attention to the draft coverege through the week.

that was my REACTION! WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!:cmad:

god my head hurts i need to lie down.. i'm so through with the off-season i will be takin a hiatus here.... wake me when the season starts :csad:

I've got a hunch the Lakers picked Crittenton to develop a package for Jermaine O'neal...the Pacers are in desperate need to improve their backcourt. Makes sense...unless Mitch is at it again with his idiocy. Hello, we already have Jordan Farmar...

From what I'm hearing*, a deal has been on the table; Bynum and Odom for J. O'Neal. Apparently, the Lakers are saying nun-unh.

*By 'what I'm hearing', I mean repeating what Ric Bucher said.

Well...Lakers pretty much have no choice now. Garnett is out of the question. I bet the Lakers are finally going to agree to send LO and Bynum in a matter of time...or see ya later #24.

****, Bucher now says the Sonics are going to try really hard to keep Lewis. Goddammit.

West/Ridnour
Durant
Lewis

I want them in a video game.

Hahahaha, that Arenas/Durant NBA Live commercial is hilarious. So is that Papi SportsCenter one.

Haha yeah they are. Also looking forward to seeing Gilbert "stop someone." Might even happen once or twice next year. Here's hoping.

Have you guys talked about the Ray Allen trade yet?
Ray Allen and #35 for Jeff Green (#5), Delonte West, Wally Ssdkfhjkasgifoaizjkbiak and a future second.

Pretty good deal for both teams, in my mind. Although not sure why Sonics want to keep Lewis. They should go into full rebuild mode. But I guess Lewis is still pretty young.

Supposedly Yi refuses to come to Milwaukee for a press confrence. ****.

DIE DURANT DIE!!

Well I think its safe to say this is the best thing to have come of the draft so far.
