I don't see the Yankees signing Teixeira if they want two of the top pitchers available (Burnett, Sabathia, Lowe, Peavy, etc.)

I doubt they'll go after two pitchers. Will have Wang, Petitte and Mussina back. Chamberlain will be back in the starting rotation(which I disagree with). Will probably sign/acquire one of the pitchers above. Peavy has said he doesn't want to play in New York. I'd rather sign Burnett/Sabathia to a deal.

I don't think Pettitte and Mussina are locks. Pettitte wants a 2 year deal which is too much since he's nothing more than a glorified 4th starter. I think they may let him walk.

Mussina seems questionable about retirement. He'll probably come back though.

Signing Burnett is bad, IMO. He may have killed the Yankees but he was not very good. He's a big injury risk (only 3 seasons with 30+ starts in his career). He's also a flyball pitcher which wouldn't be good in Yankee Stadium.

What is with your hatred towards Philly and there fans? You come off as a complete ass with the continuous posts about it.

That's been going on for years. I have a friend who is a Jets Season Ticket holder and he used to talk about that years ago. They do the J-E-T-S, chant only they replace it with T-I-T-S.

I agree. Philly fans are a disgrace... they are the only reasons why I hate their teams so much. Giant fans at least have some class... Philly fans are disgusting.
