lol overachieved?

I assume you're talking to me. Yes, the Rangers outperformed all expectations last year. Pretty sure every Ranger fan knows that. D-Backs did that in '07 then came back down to earth the following seasons due to bad management and poor on field play.

I guess only time will tell...but I'll definitely take a 4-0 possibly 5-0 start with every pitcher in the rotation putting in a quality start so far and hitting at its best as a great sign
I actually said at the beginning of last season that i thought they would go to far and got made fun of for it...so i guess not all rangers fans thought we overachieved...I thought we played just as I expected.
A bunch of young guys...all with amazing potential...I think its just the start of something great

I would have to guess that opinion was in the minority. Texas fans are so sucked into football I sensed a big bandwagon feel once they got going with Lee.

I'm not suggesting they're a bad team cause they're not, but fans, media, and many people would not have guessed they would have made the World Series let alone the playoffs.

I do agree...its a football state...I hated the bandwagon fans last season more than anyone...as much as I loved the popularity they had...it came right towards the end of the season...and the claw and antlers thing became popular even though it was started at the beginning of the season.
I can see where you're coming from.

Another late-game win for the Royals! That's a four-game streak!

Also, it was against my least favorite team, so... Yeah:word:

You know, **** ******* fans who take their fandom too seriously to the point where you beat a man to near death. When the Dodgers beat the Dbacks in AZ, I don't feel like fighting anyone when I'm leaving Chase Field, but I'm also not drunk.

Get over yourselves, sports fans.

My Red Sox fan nephew is already having conniptions.

Sport fans? Not even close.

These thugs are not fans, I been to hundreds of Dodger's game in my lifetime growing up in LA and I can tell you from first hand experience these aholes are not fans at all.

They are just plain old gang members from some of the neighborhood where I grew up in, they are acting like "their team" is part of their hoods so they fight other fans because of that.

They don't follow the Dodgers or even root for them anywhere expect at the stadium, they don't even like the game of Baseball. The only reason they go to the game is to start shiet with other fans, believe me I know being a Mets fan I been in a few fights myself because of that reason. I usually go with a few of my friends and they leave us alone but I been to lots games with my pass girlfriends or my siblings or mom where those thugs/*****es wanted to start fights with me.

I been noticing in the last 6 season or so at the Dodgers games it have been getting worse and worse like in those old Raiders games. Those aholes are ruining a nice day at the ball park. I actually have been going more and more to Angels games because of all that crap. The food and beer is cheaper there than at the Dodgers and I don't have to worry about getting into fights at the angles stadium.

Rant over. :woot:

These kinds of incidents really make me question my interest in going to an away game.

I remember when I went to New York to see the Patriots vs Jets game (It was Favre's opener in NY). I got yelled a lot, but nothing to really worry about

I went to Green Bay once with my Vikings jersey and got pop thrown on me while Favre destroyed the Packers but that fan got thrown out of the game and the crowd cheered when he did it was pretty awesome.

Well, I don't know the ethnicity of the fans who attacked the guy so I didn't want get all racial up in here.

Willie Bloomquist 4 MVP

D-Backs finally win a damn game in Chicago.

It's unbelievable that somebody could actually take the life of another human being over a baseball game.

Damn Nick Swisher and your stupid hard slide, taking out Nishioka like that.

I've been to Lambeau as a Bears fan and have had a great time. Sure, there's a lot of good natured talking and goofing, but I've never felt like my life was in danger. I've even found other Bear fans to have a drink and laugh with.

Anyone that takes it to the extreme of taking a life, or even violence, is sub-human.

On a more positive note ... It was nice to see the Sox take their home opener against the Rays. E.Jackson pitched an awesome game.

Which everybody is taught to do. Swisher went to the Twins and apologized to him personally. However, a lot of analysts are saying because he was a short stop playing second, he didn't handle the play as most 2nd basemen would have.
