He should be if you're going by stats and accomplishments. The only reason not to vote him in, is if you don't think that steroid/hgh users should be allowed in the Hall of Fame.

Which everybody is taught to do. Swisher went to the Twins and apologized to him personally. However, a lot of analysts are saying because he was a short stop playing second, he didn't handle the play as most 2nd basemen would have.

Oh it was an excellent slide and I think anyone who would even think about calling it dirty is a moron. In Japan they aren't taught to slide to take out the 2nd basemen so Nishioka isn't use to that thus he didn't jump or get out of the way quickly. It's just unfortunate that his leg broke.

It was a clean slide, but Nick Swisher stills comes off as a jerk to me.

Last week against the Blue Jays, I noticed Nishioka ask for time at the plate, it was given, he thanked the umpire and nodded to the pitcher too. They really must do things different in Japan, a true Gentleman.

They have honor for everyone over there in Japan. He apologized to the Twins' president because he got hurt so early in the season after signing the 3 year contract and he apologized to the fans. Not many players do either of those.

is the only player in MLB history to get busted juicing twice a Hall of Famer? No he is not, if we ain't gonna see Canseco, McGwire, Sosa, Palmeiro or Bonds' plaques in cooperstown, we sure as hell won't see Manny's.
