it doesn't matter if they helped or didn't....he's been busted twice with a substance banned by the MLB....

MLB has a list of 86 banned substances...it is every players responsibility to make sure that anything they put into their bodies is not on that list...period

I would like you to give me a medical breakdown of every banned substance.

sorry...84 banned substances

7 are illegal drugs

47 substances are listed steroids

30 substances listed as stimulants

its not like you go "Whoops, I took andro"

Yeah I always make sure to check my ovaltine for Dimethylamphetamine, Norandrostenedione, Methyltestosterone, and Phendimetrazine:o

I think it's foolish that we expect athletes to be squeaky clean when they're not properly educated on what this stuff is they shouldn't take, why they shouldn't take it, and how to avoid taking supplements with various chemical compounds.

if you look at the list....these aren't substances that are in everyday things like Gatorade, Ovaltine, or Ramen

the list is public record so you can't really claim that they don't know what they should or shouldn't be taking

Methylphenidate is Ritalin, I used to take it when I was younger.

MLB should ban me for that!

Royals are continuing to do that "winning" thing that I am enjoying immensely. And our starter (Hochevar, in this case) didn't totally crap the bed today.

Willie Bloomquist running out of his mind. 6 stolen bases this year and hasn't yet been caught. That's bound to change.

Gammons with an honest take on Manny as a person.
That's what it always was with Manny. He never gave a darn about anyone else -- teammates, the clubhouse kids he stiffed at home and on the road (one year, Alex Cora paid Manny's road dues and never got paid back), the traveling secretary, even his manager.

That's just Manny being Manny. You can't take it too seriously.

Josh Hamilton is out for 6-8 weeks with small fracture in Homerus bone. :csad:

woah, weird timely posts like an ongoing news story.

"Josh"

"Josh Hamilton"

"Josh Hamilton is"

"Josh Hamilton is injured"

I like how he ripped his third base coach for sending him on the play. Team unity ftw.

9-2 is perfect team unity for me ;)
Its early...but I like what I'm seeing so far! :cwink:
