Make an argument for Granderson winning that doesn't include his RBI or runs scored.

The Yankees are a game or so out of leading their division, the pitching has not been a strength and Granderson has been leading them all season.

I'd give a lot of consideration to Adrian Gonzalez, too.

^ That was my fault. Quote got screwed up on the iPad.

"runs scored"

Fixed the quote

no one on the Yankees is winning the MVP.....if thats what is being talked about

6gb...if the giants don't win at least 2/3 in the upcoming series against the dbacks it will be over without question.

Congrats Javier Vazquez. 2,500 K club. And he may add on to it later on.

Duda made history, Duda was 2,500th for Vaz.

Most people will forget Javier Vazquez's career strikeout total let alone who was his 2500th.

Nope. What Vazquez will most be remembered for is his inability to pitch in big games.

Have you only recently started fallowing Vazquez? Only last year, he couldn't pitch in a Yankees uniform. 10 - 10 with an ERA of 5.32. And most of those wins were because the team provided enough runs to cover shaky outings. Not to mention they elected not to have him pitch in the Playoffs.

Exactly! I don't remember too many big he stepped up in, but I remember a lot where he folded. Specifically, down the stretch with the White Sox.

Chicken**** ump tossing Upton from the game as he's walking back to the dugout, despite being mad over the apparent bad strike zone. Cmon, how anti-competitive is this.

end of the line for the gmen.

time to get healthy and reload for next year.

play the kids!

Looks like the White Sox season is over.

Detroit just about to finish off the sweep. Should be a fun (interesting) offseason for the Chi Sox.

Wow ... Zachary Stewart had a perfect game going into the 8th. Didn't see that one coming ...
