The White Sox at least have one. I kept going down the list thinking they might also be shut out.

I'm surprised the Astros have one there. Isn't there farm the worst in the league, or close to it?

I'll take Prince Fish as the Angel's only one. He is at the top after all.

And what does that mean exactly? He's been burly and overweight for a long time.

Yeah.

I stumbled across a page from the NJ paper from 2009. It was all about the decade in baseball. One section had top single-game performances. The writer put Matsui's 6-RBIs in Game 6 of the 09 WS as #1 over Randy Johnson's 13K perfect game

lol Yankee lovers.

So I was goofing off with some numbers like every stereotypical nerd who lives in his mother's basement. Imagine how many HRs Bonds would have hit had he gotten more opportunities to swing? The At bats went down while the walks went up and still cranked out 45 the next three seasons after that 01.

01: 73 HRs, 476 ABs, 177 BB, 35 IBB
02: 46 HRs, 403 ABs, 198 BB, 68 IBB
03: 45 HRs, 390 ABs, 148 BB, 61 IBB
04: 45 HRs, 373 ABs, 232 BB, 120 IBB

Man, that 04 was ridiculous. He would have hit 60 in any of those next three seasons if everyone didn't pitch around him. Insane.

Yeah.

I think what Matsui did has been done only once in the World Series, that is probably why.

I'll remember the A-Rod 3-homer 10 RBI game against the Angels before I remember Matsui's.

Just like I'll remember Garret Anderson's 10 RBI game against the Yankees more.

Then I'll remember that RBIs are an absolutely terrible and ridiculous way to judge individual performances.

I remember that game. I laughed.

Funny how both occasions are Angel and Yankee related. Like a match made in heaven.

same here

so is St. Louis being stupid in not taking care of Pujols contract like right now?

Pujols is just stretching his muscle...I think he wants to hit free agency and see what he can get (but will settle in St. Louis i think)

Probably get the richest deal in MLB history if he goes to another team.

Pujols > Anyone else who picks up a bat

lol at whoever it was who compared Ryan Howard to Pujols.

pretty much...Im actually going to CitiField when the Cardinals come to town this season
