Interesting that they mentioned that he was born in London and grew up in Canada right after that quote.

"Taking one for the team" Ha! I love it.
yeh, just basically letting be know that he isn't american.

Did Cheng Zhi killed Howard Bern? Bern was the agent that named Jack as the one who led the raid on the Chinese consol in season 4. Was he released, or was he secretly sent off to the labor camp that the Chinese guy threatened him with?

I hope they have him in imprisoned in the camp, Jack finds him and then beats the living hell out of him.

That would be one of the funniest things ever..the look on his face would be priceless

I wonder if Audrey or Chloe will begin work out in the field. Chloe showed pretty good promise for being Jacks protege. She's tough. Audrey needs to harden up a bit, with Jack being kidnapped that could be her incentive to want to bust a cap in someone.

I may have seen it on here or on a myspace..but on the back of the picture Chole got it said KCAJ SI DAED (jack is dead)and it had numbers on it..but it also said LIAM NAF (fan mail) with numbers on the side..is that just an easter egg or something that they might use for next season?

What was the website they advertised you could download free eps on? Was it a myspace site?

I don't bloody well think so! I will stand corrected if it is the case, but I don't think thats right. Anybody seen a pic of that?

Well you're wrong.

HIDDEN MESSAGES POP UP IN '24' FINALE
Post staff writer
May 24, 2006 -- THE producers of "24" took a page from the "Lost" playbook Monday night.

On a scrap of paper - seen so briefly on TV it could only be read by eagle-eyed viewers who had posted the screen on the Internet - a seemingly random group of letters spells out "Jack is dead."

At the end of the season finale, the show's star, Jack Bauer, was kidnapped and appeared to be on his way to China.

Also, the numbers 3105973781, written in a vertical column, turned out to be a voice mail for a Nextel account for "24." By last night, the mailbox was full and inaccessible.

"Lost," which follows the castaways of Oceanic Flight 815, also hides clues - and misleading info - within its episodes.

holy crap.. I dont like the look of that!

Thats why I asked! :)

Of course the photo was taken before Jack was kidnapped...

The other thing says "Fan Phone" and the artical says that the voice mail box was full. Any reports of what was on that line?

I don't know if this has been mentioned, but there was an interview with the writer of the finale.

Nothing too significant said, but one of the most important things mentioned was that next season would not take place in China, due to the obvious time restraints that people on here have already mentioned (plane ride back to California, etc.) He also mentioned that there would probably not be a season 6 prequel, and that the he had just started writing the season premier the day before.

Damn, I was really looking forward to the season six prequel.

Anyway, according to the 24: the game instruction manual, and other 24 literature...Jack's bachelor's degree is in English Literature...ever wonder what would happen if Jack took the route of a teacher instead of CTU agent?

Jack: (interrogating student) Where is the note?
Student: I don't know what you're...
Jack: (Grabs him out of the desk and slams him into the wall) WHERE IS THE NOTE!?!?!??!?!
Student: I DON'T KNOW!
Principal Palmer: You have my authorization to do whatever is necessary to protect this school Jack.
Jack (shoots students girlfriend in the knee): SHE CAN STILL WALK, NEXT SHOT IS THE KNEE CAP! NOW WHERE IS THE NOTE!
Principal Palmer: Ok...that might've been a little much.

I forgot, did Audrey ever clue Bill Buchanan in on the reason why she signed the document that said he was incompinant?

LMAO! Most federal agents have degrees in English Lit. Odd right?

I wonder why each day starts at the top of the hour like 7:00am? For season 6 wouldn't it be nice if the day started at say, 5:15pm or 8:45am...?

Yeah, oddly enough it was Burger King's MySpace site.

www.myspace.com/burgerking

Only the first episode of Season 5 was free the last time I checked. They have up through 5x24, but 5x2 through 5x24 are $2 apiece.

I think Chloe did.

Not as odd as one would think, his master degree is in criminology. Hell, he could have a degree in dance for his bachelors degee as long as he got good enough grades, he could get accepted into practically any masters program.

Nothing made me more sad this season than watching Bill walk out with his plant and brief case :(

I imagine he will be back again next season, but not as head of CTU. There has never been the same head of CTU two seasons in a row...and if Tony Almedia can't beak that curse, Bill Buchanan sure as hell can't

It's been a while since I watched season one, but didn't Mason technically do that in seasons one and two? Granted, he died before the end of season two, but he still served as head of CTU at the beginning of the season.

I actually really hope Buchanan stays. He's been probably the most likable character that has been introduced since season 4.

No, Mason worked for Division during season 1. Jack was the head of CTU during the first season, until he tried to assassinate Palmer. Mason was in command for a brief while, then he appointed Alberta Green.

But Alberta left after a while and Mason was back in charge

And Tony took charge at the end of Season 2 and was the head for most of Season 3. No two full seasons, true, but two seasons in a row.

It's probably just easier that way...it'd be an interesting experiment to try that.

But then of course, instead of the big shocker happening right on the hour, it'd be on the 15 or the 45...
