i know im the only one who is fighting for emma, and i think most people are only fighting for kitty because they love her or hate emma, and yes im quite aware what happens in the comic, to whoever made that comment, but you either choose to not read or understand my previous comments, where i said "however a writer chooses to comply" anyway my point is logic, which most of you seem to forget just because youre reading a comic, you all mention accient kitty abilities, yet you ignore emmas, emma is a genius in her own right, much like kitty, and anything she doesnt know or understand can easily be fixed either way, other than that if kitty shatters her, emma can just put her mind somewhere else, shes been in at least three of the x-mens bodies, so you can never really keep her down and how do any of you know that the emma kitty fought is really her? what if perfection is the real emma? ill leave with this, the arc isnt over and niether is emma, so i guess well just see what happens next, wont we
But modern Kitty did kick modern Emma's ass. Whatever ruthlessness Emma had is gone. It's going to take The White Queen (a side of Emma none of us have seen since the 1980s) to take down Kitty.

When Emma was shattered didint she only survive because she transported her consciousness just in time or something like that?

And people saying Kitty could 'loose focus' is a inept arguement. Its been stated that Kittiy's natural state is phased and she has to focus to stay tangible.

i dont think it was ever fully explained, but her consciousness was lingering around her broken body, it wasent transfered anywhere if i remember correctly

Also, as someone mentioned, Jean put her back together.

Jean that was in the process of reactivating her Phoenix powers.

Yeah...

Emma couldn't do it again (unless, of course, a writer wanted to jump through hoops for it).

Yeah, I always thought Jean just used her powers to bring Emma back to life...that showoff.

So can Kitty breathe while phased inside of something? I thought she couldn't but this issue thinks not with her talking to Emma while in a wall.

I know that's not what i ment by letting her guard down though :p.

i ment she would need to solidify eventually, which bugs me because i was wondering also is she really capable of leaving inner organs such as brain intangable?
Has these been seen before?

I know she can do it with body parts but with Organs it's seems like something that she hasn't done before.

And isn't kitty disoriented by really dense objects? Would diamond be harmful in this case?
i think this was brought up earlier.

The look on Emma's face on the "You get in my head, the rock gets in yours" panel is priceless.
I loved that part it was great and the way she left her there was funny.

if she didnt make her organs and especially brain intangible when she walked through walls they'd fall to the ground behind and she'd....well die....horribly

Her natural state is intangible. She needs to focus to STAY tangible. So if she let's her guard down, big deal. Nothing can touch her anyway.

And no she does not become disoriented when going through dense objects. She's fallen through the earth before and didn't seem to have any problems except just being pissed off that she was thrown there in the first place.

The only object that disorients her is adamantium. Which is the stupidest plot device ever.

she might not be able to cling on to her body, but that doesnt mean she cant place her mind in another body, emma is full capable of living after being shattered, or even dieing in human state, logicly she can even leave whoever to die inside of her body while she lives on in that persons body, so she never really needed to depend on jean, just to fuse those pieces, but only that

There is no school like old school, huh? Classic White Queen vs. adult Kitty Pryde.

Emma has been in other bodies.

1. Iceman 2. Storm

:)

and last time i checked it's dense objects not just adamantium but w/e.

oh wait it's on wikipedia just search kitty pryde :D.

and the earth is made up of grains so it isn't that dense besides that im sure the writer forgot. :p.

hmm i remember her being in one other body but i cant put my finger on who

wow. Emma gets around...how many other men and women has she been inside? Does that make her bi?

Isn't this arc called "Torn", I remeber somewhere that Joss Whedon said that after he is done with her "Emma will never be the same again".(I think it was Wizard magazine) Anyways, I think whats going on here is that Emma has severe Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome, and with her being telepathic its gone way outta hand. I think that she finally snapped considering this finally took hold when she went back to Genosha(where she saw a boy's prize winning pianist hands cut wafer thin and Nega-Sonic Teenage Warhead dosed with glass). With all that happens to her, I think Kitty might be able to understand(conisdering she lost her father in Genosha as well).

trust me, emma has far more than that, her hellions were killed, which lead her to turn good, but then there were deaths in gen x, she shot her sister for that, hmm then the incident with genosha, she also had two of her pupils die in new x-men, hmm in all that she also had a horrible childhood, i think they ran with that too much, i love emma, but the writers mess with her too much

well atleast she isn't the old villain b!tc# for no reason she used to be. Now she has good reason to be good, and i love her for it. :).

Emma is the most evil good guy ever....and thats awesome!!

September 20... it's really easy to search on the Marvel.com site, you know.
