Ellis has been pretty good about continuity in this book. Hell, he's the only writer acknowledging Beast's relationship with Abigail. He also had Storm & Cyclops have a conversation a few issues back about the need to kill during a fight, citing some damn old issues and events.

I think Ellis just assumed that since we haven't seen anyone tell Emma about Storm's power less, and since Emma never personally confronted Storm in a fight during those times, that she didn't know.

hell...colossus and kitty??? she looks like a 1st grader in comparison to him and that didnt stop him from splitting her in two....guess that phasing ability came in handy

Beast's new relationship always brings my mind the only word 'beastiality' and gives me shudders...just not sure who's the real beast in it.

well she made her feelings known in GSAstonishing. and then they had some banter about their sex life in Ellis's first issue. and Scott made some comments as well.

She hasn't said what her alien race is yet. Her father's people are apparently blue furry monsters, which is why she wants to be the macadamian to his Cookie Monster.

I like the added sex to the book, scott/emma, beast/brand it gives the book a taste of reality, kinda like when the the x-men used to relax and take a swim or play a ball game. the world cant blow up every issue.

um yeah. Image inducer only changes what the eyes see. They dont physical change anything and when she touched him, she'd feel the fur, and all his animal parts

Thing is, aside from Kitty's death, no one but Ellis has acknowledged the stuff that went on during Whedon's run. Hisako has appeared in two panels of Uncanny (and only because she was talking to Pixie), Colossus has made no mention of the fact that he's the present ruler of Breakworld, and the X-Center somehow has an all new Danger Room with no mention of Danger's AI.

well Id expect for Ellis to acknowledge that stuff since all of this happened in Astonishing X-men and he's writing the follow up to Wheden's run. I think Im more forgiving on other writers than I would have been on him as far as this stuff goes. You also have to remember that the other writers werent allowed to touch anything from AXM. Blame the massive delays on that. For months they had to skate around the issue of Kitty bc her fate in Giant Size X-men kept getitng pushed back. Marvel had to come up with some lame explanation that AXM took place in its own continuity as a way to handle how out of touch it was with the timeline of the other books.

Oh and Carey is another writer other than Ellis that plans on acknowleding stuff from Whedon's run. he has plans to further give insight to Danger and that AXM arc in regards to Xavier

i mean, why even bother making an X-man in charge of anything other than an X-team? because the other team/community/planet will only suffer from lack of leadership.

Longshot and Dazzler were put in charge of the Mojoverse then they, along with the world they were incharge of conveniently all went into limbo and when they reappeared Mojo was back in charge...
