actually they should just do away with it entirely. it was a pet project just for Joss Whedon to do and they decided they would try and keep it going once he was no longer interested. only for it to continue to suffer in chronic lateness with possible interesting stories but nobody cares anymore because they come out 6 months apart. Please take this title out behind the shed

You know what would really help this title? being a monthly book.

Yea, I don't even care if it comes out anymore.

It doesn't bother me either since it's just a blah story as it is, with some cute dialogue.

For me, the best X-book right now is Uncanny. The way it's written is very similar to the way Claremont wrote it back when he was good.

I actually like what Ellis is doing - not enough to care about the book coming out, or wait for it with bated breath (although I'm way behind on the majority of X-titles) - but I like it. And I love Bianchi's artwork. I've been a fan of seeing him on X-Men since his work on Wolverine. It's just too bad he's so freaking slow.

So, yes, I agree with bryanss3 above. This book would be much better were it monthly. Hopefully, once this arc is finished, they do not depend on Bianchi for another.

Is it Bianchi or Ellis? When Bianchi did the Lupine arc in Wolverine it wasn't late like this at all. And yet Ellis' New Universal is all but forgotten, half finished. I don't think Bianchi is all to blame here....

In this case, I think it's a combination of the two. Bianchi doesn't strike me as someone who finishes his art especially quickly, and Ellis is notorious for having the attention span of a goldfish (I'm still waiting on another issue of Fell, Ellis).

Wasnt Ellis writing X-force, X-man and Gen X all at the same time during Revolution? I thought he was one who knew how to multitask

Not anymore ...unless he is working on something big that is taking up all of his time....

pretty sure i was right about not wanting him to touch the X anymore...especially how he personally KILLED 3 x-titles all at once

I thought Milligan killed X-Force.

You should be interested. The brief implies we may have a new creative team after this. Perhaps then this book will ship on time.

Looks like Bianchi phoned in that cover.

Complain all you want. He still draws way better than me. :(

not really, only that it is the end of their opening run....perhaps he was preparing his second arc in advance so it will ship in something resembling normalcy...

Err...granted, he still draws better than most of us, but does that cover really need to take that much time to accomplish?

OK, i am a bit lost now.... the cover above is for part 6 of Ghost Boxes.... have 1-5 been released already, it seems like MONTHS since I read an issue, but I dont think I missed any....? When was the last issue released (And which issue was it!?)

That's a June solicit. We should be getting part 5 in April, I think.

I don't think I've ever used the term "talented hack" to describe a comic book artist before, but...
